But it was a new one in my book of experiences.

I'm glad you saw the humor. I was wondering if you would be alright with that. If I saw a tornado I would probably wet myself.

The first timers in earthquakes get quite a shock. The idea that the solidity of the ground, an idea firmed in our minds, is shattered by an earthquake.

I understand how that feels. It happens to everyone who experiences it for the first time. Out here, we get little ones on an irregular basis. We go, eh, another earthquake. Probably the way you go, eh, another water spout.

By the way, I feed the squirrels on the back fence. They have bred several generations in the trees overhead. Theres this family that comes every morn to get the seed and sit or sun on the fence during the day. They are very healthy with full fluffy tails.

Other than a bit of food in the morning I do nothing else for them. They must forage for what else they need to survive. I provide a little buffer for them against the void, thats all. They reward me with their presence. They don't mess in the yard or bother my moms plants at all.

Why is the fact that I posted a dream that actually did come true just being ignored? I'd think it would be of interest to some at least but gosh no takers.

Noticed that, too. Oh well. You see and nobody cares. Maybe one day they will build a monument.

But I doubt it. The world is too busy.

I report stuff I have seen and get a couple stars and thats it…

Don't sweat it, I think you are cool.

I've had two dreams with a funky sky sort of like you describe. In both of them, the sky was an indistinct, silvery, grayish color with no real sun that I could see. There seemed to be light in the dream, but I also had the impression it was dark.

In the first deam, which was many months ago, we were in a car trying to get to the sea. We couldn't see it and never made, but I had the feeling we were running from something.

In the second dream, the sky was the same, and we were still trying to get to the sea. This time we were on a train, and the tracks ran off into the sea. You could see large ships off the coast, but only barely as the grayish whatever made it hard to make out their shapes. And this time, the water was up to my ankles inside the train before we woke up. This time, the feeling was excitement.

Both dreams had the exact same sky and strange light/non-light. And both times we were going from one place to the sea, but in the second dream, we got much closer.

I am seeing tiny connections with my dark sky dream and others. I have written down my dream so I can't lose it or have it contaminated in my mind with false memories after reading the details of the dreams of others that have had a recent dark sky dream. I am trying to list the common points, if they exist.

My dream was of a dark, gray sky.

The sky was unusual but not frightening, though I distinctly remember questioning, in my mind, why the sky was so dark and why the light of the 2 objects of the sky did not penetrate the 'veil'.

In my dream I called the presence that seemed to hang in the air, a veil, but I like the description expressed by another dteamer, 'wispy'. Wispy is a perfect description of the quality of the air.

In my dream I also had someone with me. I don't want to give too much detail yet, I want to see if more of our details match.

You were with other people. Who were the people you were with and how were they related to you?

You were traveling. From where?

Do you remember any animals in the dream?

I'll stop there. I will share my connections, if I find any more.

Just playing a hunch.

Thanks for sharing.

Do you know what city you were in and which coast you were headed to.
This could possibly indicate you were running from volcanic ash.. & maybe trying to get on a boat to flee the country. (Just guesses)

I read the Mt. St. Helens blew 10 years ago... so in the 90s. Is this a different event that the one you're talking about?

The big eruption of Mt St Helen's was on May 18, 1980. There have been other eruptions since then, but nowhere near as bad as that one.

The USGS has a very informative page about Mt St Helen's HERE, with details of the 1980 eruption. That page also has links to the other eruptive periods since that time and discusses the likely future eruptions as well.

Several of our ATS members experienced the Mt St Helen's 1980 eruption personally. One that comes to mind is westcoast, who wrote about her own experiences that day in a thread called The Day My World Shook. It's an amazing read and I'm sure that you'll find it interesting.

hi usehername.

freestone again.

years ago, I had a series of very extensive dreams, one of them showed to me slides of what I would be doing and where living, like more than 10 years in the future! photographic images, no less. and places I never heard of and as it turns out places I never ever considered, at the time, to live in.

one by one, these 8 or 10 images came true.

I have a working theory: that on my high soul level, before birth, I set up a very fixed-in-stone life plan, for my incarnation. then ten years before a series of projects begin, I had the dream. memory came from the pre-1941 level of time. I was born in 1941. so did do every thing in my plan.

however, I have heard of "probable realities". this is where the soul plans out maybe four alternate futures. only one will end up being real. the others are then echoes, if passed by. the images might still be up there, but something about the free will of the person or of the times we live in, might have changed the outcome.

*this* is what I hoped you saw! a future that was to be but is not now to be. happening now, thus the dream. but we all are on another timeline.

I hope so.
your descriptions are very chillingly real.
