TERRE HAUTE, In (Sept 27th, 2014) — A shooting is being reported near the Lincoln Quad residence Hall at Indiana State University.

Campus police say a male student claims he was struck by gunfire while walking on campus.

The male was conscious and alert.

It is believed this is an isolated shooting incident. There is a heavy police presence on campus though it is believed that the shooter has left the area. Updates to follow



Additional information: victim states the suspects are 2 African American males. The victim states that he is unable to provide any further information at this time
