The Tornado GR4 is designed for high speed low level strike missions over heavily defended targets, and also comes with some of the best sensor equipment in the world.

The Typhoon is multi role and as such isn't as specialised, but depending on the targets its up against can be just as capable.

Whatever it is its killing people and has potential to end lots of innocent civilian lives and it shouldn't matter what it was designed for because at the end of the day its 'murder and chaos' from the government to you as a reader, viewer, observer and/or group/culture to observe and accept the fact that theres nothing you as a citizen can do. All we're conditioned to do is ignore the facts if they appear, follow orders and never ask the government questions even if you suspect 'wrong doing'. A message of hope is desperately needed in times like these but I find its difficult to think sometimes, especially when the flow of ideas is enormously effected by having to constantly experience negativity stemming from reading threads about things like war and politics. a reply to: neformore

If you look here you'll find whose Frankenstein this is and its a monster that will bring blood to our shores but before you get outraged about beheadings in Oklahoma shouldn't we really be going after the people with the cheque books as they are the real threat to western civilisation.

On TV in queation time last night they promised no involvment in syria and no mission creep.

4 pm this afternoon I see on bbc new camron saying strikes on syria not ruled out....,,

Step it up, America. Demand a full hearing and debate from our representatives, recall them from the campaign trail. Let's at least do the bare minimum here and give this some thought.

There is a difference in governments.

The UK is a Constitutional Monarchy.
The US is a Constitutional Representative Republic.

Our elected officials work on behalf of the people. Secondly there have been debates on it and they are currently ongoing. Obama has 60 -90 days before he is forced to deal directly with Congress in terms of funding actions in Syria and Iraq under the war powers act.
