That brain that flies the jet article is very interesting and i've been doing some reading around the topic. I still have some issues with it though. How does their little brain know when its doing well? ie when it grew for all it knew it could have been supposed to crash the jet as quick as possible.

I suppose there must have been some way to let it know when it was doing well. But how?

If it "feels" pleasure administered by the electrodes then I can see protestor groups cropping up all over the place complaining about the rights of petri dish brains! Here fly the missile that way....thats it you're doing good....BOOM! hehe


I'd also like to know far more about the interaction system they briefly explain.

Does anyone have any knowledge in the field or know any good links.
