My girlfriend cleared all my cookies and temparory files because my laptop was getting slow. She may have done other things (im totally computor illiterate).
When i used to log into ATS i would be straight on the home page, now its my "threads im subscribed to" page.
i would much prefer to be on the home page when i log in.
Can anyone tell me, step by step if necessary, how i sort this out?

Thanks in advance

Bumping for any input.

I'm not sure what the solution is but I expect it's simple for those who know how.

If you know, please help out a fellow member.

Hi. I am not sure but after I log in, I get the 'Recent Post's' Page loading up. I haven't thought that we could have our page of choice to load after logging in. I will look into just that right now! Back soon with an update. Give me a few min's to do that. Later, Syx.

Quick update. I went into the _javascript info and looked for something relating to the situation. If simple HTML, it is easy to spot where one would go after logging in. The Javascript used here is a bit more complex, to me anyway. So I am still trying to see an area that is related to the pages that load after logging in. It will take me longer than I first suspected. I do not want to give up on this however as I, and I am sure others will benefit from the quest!
Hopefully someone will come in here soon with a solution, before I find out how to do what you want to have happen.
Sorry to have gotten your hopes up too soon. I apologize for that. I will keep trying. Later, Syx.

go to whatever section you want to start from, ie homepage, recent, my ats etc. bookmark and delete your old bookmark.
or edit your existing bookmark.

Hopefully it is something s simple as that. I usually dig way deeper than necessary in these matters! LOL!!! But, I have several pages bookmarked here at ATS, and None of them are the page I start from after logging in!?

Do you end up, by any chance at the page you have bookmarked here? Just wondering. If so, I would say you are correct with your solution! I do hope so. As that would be the simplest way for SercretKnowledge to get where they want to be after logging in. It does make sense for that to work......
(Thanx, BTW , for getting me off the hook as something has come up at my home that is going to take me away from ATS for most of the day. I hate saying I will do something and something else comes up making it a deterrent in reaching my previously stated goal. Alas......) LOL! Syx.

Thank you i did something similar.

I cut and pasted the address when i was on the home page, then i cleared my browsing and download history. Then i pasted the home page address and that was it.
Simple when you know how...

I have two questions.

When I click on "new topic", all I get is a blank/gray screen. Is that a problem with cookies or what?

Also, I don't seem to be able to adjust my personal settings or avatar in either "myATS" or "go to your profile".

The reason you get a blank page when you click on New Topic is because you haven't posted the 20 replies to existing threads needed to be able to start a new topic.
