Passenger ejected from flight over notebook doodles

This is absurd, I love me a doodle or two. lol. What the hell, its just some scribbling on a piece of paper, I would love to know, what passenger thought that, because they saw the word terrorism , he must of had a bomb up his a$$. really people, talk about such a waste of time for law enforcement, the pilots, the people on board, and last but not least the unlucky passenger.

You mean like the illuminati puts symbols and signals on movies,tv,news and architecture so a few people know what their next move is but nobody pays attention?

The lack of critical thinking and common sense from the general public continues to baffle me. People are so easily conditioned. We live in a world fueled by fear and so few seem to see it for what it is. Sometimes face value is exactly that. This reminds me of the kids that have been suspended from school for drawing a pic of a gun or making a gesture of with no ill intent in mind.

I wish I had more bridges for sale.

Considering how high tensions are here in Australia right now with the recent terror raids and terror alert being raised too high, and the threat being plastered all over the media i know and understand that people are on edge and scared and might over react to the slightest thing but this is just absurd and theyre just adding more to the fear mongering side of things by doing this.

You have to put the situation in context. These people were sitting on a plane, it's not like they could get away from the guy if they wanted to. He should have been a little sensitive to the fact he was on the plane around other passengers. People aren't scared to fly but their sense of awareness sure is heightened, and this would set off a red flag in people's mind. I'm just trying to think how I would feel if it were someone next to me doodling like that. I wouldn't like it.

I would like to hear the real scoop on this because i'm skeptical. How can you be thrown off a flight for what you doodle privately? Do they also examine the androids and ipods for doodling or writings?

There's more to this story than just a doodle, I say.

Last year this time I was on a flight to Denver. During the preflight briefing the stewardess insulted the crap out of us and people were stupid enough to laugh.

I think the airlines need to clean up their professional act before throwing innocent people off planes.

I think people need to understand that that airports and passenger airplanes are very bad places to joke about, even mention the two words "bomb" and "terror"(ism).

As aircrew we are instructed to get the #&¤"! airplane from one place to another ON TIME and let the police handle cases like the one in the OP.

People are afraid to fly, and people are afraid of terrorism.
If someone act or talk in such a way that they introduces fear among passengers or aircrew that person(s) is not going to travel on that flight, period.

There's a time and place for everything.

I think people should stop being so afraid of everything including dying.
