Could This Invention Spark a Global Revolution?

Personally, I will stick with my helmet with full face shield.

Why isn't it just incorporated into a full jacket ?

Their reason for inventing this is they don't like bulky helmets - and their solution is an even bulkier neck brace/scarf that deploys an airbag in the event of a collision? Hmm. And what about those ordinary stumbles like falling off the bike, tripping on a storm grate, hitting a tree branch, etc., that bike helmets currently protect against? I'd hate to have to replace an airbag every time those situations occurred. In fact trees are a big source for head trauma on bikes, I doubt this invention would even deploy in those cases.
