Does money give you happiness?

The answer to this question could fill a book, but here is the simple truth I have found in my life.

Money must be earned in order to make you happy, and true happiness comes from BUILDING something. Build a log cabin, build a company, build a network, it doesn't matter. But CREATING is what brings us true happiness.

Myself and two of my friends came into a moderate amount of money in our 20's (at different times) and have discussed it a bit.

HAVING things doesn't make you happy at all. Creating and earning things DOES though.

Paris Hilton will never be happy.

Richard Branson always will be.

This will sound silly and naive, but I'll say it anyway.

For me, my happiness is directly related to love. Money didn't buy me love. Without the love of my life, I would be extraordinarily unhappy, and money wouldn't fix that, so I choose to think of myself as rich in the way that matters to me.

but it would help to not have to stress.....Many people add fame to money, in terms of bringing you happiness, ohhhhh how miserable they truly are.
