Notwithstanding the modernised usage of the term conspiracy...when broken into its formative parts - it means to breathe together...denoting similarity of thought and/or speech...democracy is a conspiracy...

And what would one suspect then, if this supposed conspiracy was real, that they too would be kept from the knowledge of any real conspiracy, they too would be caught up in the illusion of freedom. So what would one then expect them to write if they're coming from that perspective? They would be biased just based on that, and perhaps that would colour their work too so to say.
