you forgot the 5.2, after the 6.1.

earthquake.usgs.gov...

which means all the first ones were foreshocks to the 6.1, but there is a problem. And since it's your thread, I'm sure you'll be glad to explain it to us.

Is the problem that these earthquakes could be related to the volcanism on Easter Island and that it is one of the the many Hot Spots showing activity like Iceland?
