We are in trouble. I know no one truly wants to admit it but this is now starting to become clear.

Between all the fighting going on and climate change and all the rumors running around. The falling dollar, the prices of every thing going up and our president which is losing the respect he was getting when he was being elected. We are in trouble.

The thing is it is time that a true discussion of the matter of what we can do about some of these things is begun.
The fact is we must do something but no one has really discussed what to do because we are afraid, or comfortable with the way things are. We gave some major issues to face but together we can find answers to some of these questions.
I believe our environment is truly changing. Weather or not it was caused by a cycle that our world and sun go through every so often or man and industry has caused more of it is irrelevant at this time.
Either way our world is changing and we must change with it. So we can discuss any ideas for certain problems that are known. Should we be going complete opposite direction toward better cleaner tech. Should we be putting all available ideas out there into effect to try and clean the environmental problems or do we just gradually turn around.
What do you think. Share your ideas discussion.

Here is a suggestion. Stop thinking about your nation, and think about the planetary population as a whole, measures which can be applied globally to improve the lot of all peoples on the Earth. Half the trouble with this human race fiasco, is that people only want to fix their nation, or THEIR climate. What we need to accept and to work into everything that we do as a species going forward, is that only by concerted, and co-ordinated efforts on the part of all nations, and all people, can anything be done to answer the questions that modern life is asking of our species.

No one nation can solve global warming, or even prepare for it because it will take access to all the greatest minds in the world to mitigate the climate change issue. It will take engineers and architects to build homes which cannot be damaged by floods, or swept up by tornados. It will take chemists and physicists to come up with methods of producing energy and fuels which will be less impactful to the climate, and it will need the minds of all the world, not just the US. It will take biologists and medical doctors to figure out how we might be able to adapt to a changing atmosphere rather than choking on it, and oceanic scientists to come up with ways to safeguard what remains of the oceans bounty, against huge loss of fish and sea life stock. It will take astrophysicists, rocket scientists, and countless other avionics and aeronautics experts, to come up with methods of reaching other worlds and colonising them (which I believe will be vital for the long term survival of the species), and all of the aforementioned things, will take the concerted effort of the ENTIRE intellectual resource of this planet, working together, not as separate groups, working out of separate pots of money, or for individual governments.

The problems affecting one nation might be serious, but they are as nothing beside the fact that the future of our species is being left to the winds of fate, purely because the leaders of nations are petty, and intellectually stunted in such a way as to think their diplomacy and ego is more important than dealing with the reality before us.
