The US consulate in Jeddah has been attacked, and may still under attack. Details as sketchy at the moment, but it appears to have started with a car
bomb, and there has been an exchange of gunfire.

Attackers have struck the US consulate in the Saudi city of Jeddah, starting a fire at the building and shooting at security forces.
The attack is "still in progress", an official US spokeswoman said. Flames and two heavy plumes of smoke can be seen rising from the compound.

It's difficult to comment until more is known, however it would appear that the forces of evil have struck again. (I can hardly wait for all the bleeding heart apologist liberals to start saying we should try & understand the terrorists' motives...)
