actually according to links i saw earlier from his statement (see the huge pdf) he says he was not issued a tazer but had mace as his department cant equip all officers with tazers and this is evidently the first time he ever drew or used his weapon in his job (not sure if that includes baton) ill try to find the specific portion in the huge link ill put it here when i find it
