In a tiny fishing village known as Brantevik, an eel named Ale lived for an estimated 155 years. The eel which dwelled in a well was originally put in
there to keep flies out. The death was first broken to the world on Friday and not surprisingly people are mourning him as he seems to have been
fairly well-known in Sweden.
According to the article, Ale has been frozen so experts can determine what made him live so long.
