Revolution Club Chicago probably. They had banners there Wednesday. Some say they threw molotov cocktails Wednesday. Their Facebook page points to the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) USA. Interesting connections back to SDS in the 60's, and in more current times between RCP leaders and friends of the president like Van Jones and Bill Ayers, but also to people like Ed Asner and Jane Fonda. Other Marxist orgs have accused RCP of being a CIA operation.

I am just happy that things did not escalate. If this spills over into St. Louis all hell will break loose and the justice that Ferguson and all of us need will be buried under a mountain of mayhem.

You could tell it wasn't tear gas...people were walking right through it.

Even the VICE reporter, Tim Pool, said "I think I'm getting used to the tear gas".

I didn't watch their coverage of it, and I am not sure why I didn't but I bet they reported smoke not gas as well

Well, careful there.... Blue is also the Missouri State Patrol.

The best way to tell the Troopers is either the black strap or the fact they don't wear a badge. (I'm looking into the full story behind that as a story to share later, BTW).

I know the White cover the commanders of the St Lou cops. I saw that myself there. They cover both City and County for that tho, right? So the white shirts could be anyone in command level positions. It makes a mess with so many overlapping agencies. TOO many cooks in a tiny little kitchen

You can walk right through tear gas just fine, you will be coughing and uncomfortable after but you can walk thru it, that was no smoke.
Cause a cop also told tim that it was tear gas.
And have you been gassed before? You do get somewhat used to it, the feeling anyway, once your out of it

I think this was bad enough. The LEOs should never have done this. I just don't get it.

Protesters protest, the police usually just stand there unless its private property. This is happening all wrong!!

But schlepping him over to the press area for damage control is just damage control. It feels manipulative and staged.

Not saying he is not right just that it's just ironic.

He's used in front of the camera to reassure people that their civil rights haven't been too terribly violated. LOLOL!! Just a little.

The cop said he thought so but that it was SWAT doing it.

The smoke cloud went right over the VICE reporters heads...and they didn't cough once...just said he thinks he was getting used to it. On the stream, there were a couple guys just standing directly in the cloud of smoke.

The other night when they used tear gas, people started coughing before the cloud even got to them and they had to run.

They know the lies that are spoon fed to them. The real world is hella scary.
