I'm gonna say this once, and once only, seeing as how it's a relatively common name.

I'm sorry to hear what happened to your mother, but you've got the wrong e.d. on this one...my eddie doesn't drink anything but soda pop...Dr. Pepper is his best friend. And when it comes to the ladies, he's more interested in flowers than anything remotely to do with human sexuality.

He has enormous respect for personal boundaries and personal space. He worries constantly about accidentally hurting anything or anyone.

Thanks for putting up with me while I learn to understand this entity...he's slowly revealing himself through words but, like I said, he's really scared about being seen because he doesn't think many people would understand.

I know all this sounds totally fruitcake, but it's easier talking about him here on site than it is anywhere else.

We are excited to have him here as well. I can not blame him for being wary of people not only because some would not understand but sadly, because many people are mean and hurtful. I suspect eddie "feels" this in some way and that is one reason he is shy.

I think a lot of us look forward to hearing more of what eddie has to say and I personally welcome him myself. I hope he feels safe to talk here when he is ready.

Everyone does realize what she is writing is satire right. A clever condemnation of the state of the world. Go click on the little green guy under her name and take a gander at all the other threads she has created. And then come back here and tell me that girl is serious about having a martian imaginary friend. By her past writing she is not some child like person who can not understand the world around her. She is a very aware adult. With an adult mind.

She is joking that is why I joked back and she played along. She knew darn well I was joking but she responded back like I really think eddie did something to my mother. Some of you want to believe in stuff so bad. To the OP good work. I get what your doing and I appreciate it for what it is, satire. Its quite brilliant. You have people playing along. Kudos. You are a fantastic writer.

To everyone else have fun in this thread with eddie. We can all believe what we want. No matter what it will bring a little light into this world.

I have an inner child. Trust me on that lol. I really like what you did with this thread. I really, really, do. It is clever and fun. I just did not like how people were starting to wait in anticipation for eddies next message of peace and love. You are a fantastic writer. Your two stories on the short story forum are well written and very, very, good. I would not of found them if it was not for this thread. Its just, if people start waiting for eddies next message, this starts to enter L Ron, scientology levels. Speaking of the short story forum. Sorry if I am a buzz kill. I just do not want to see people get taken advantage of. And like I said I respect your works and think you are a fantastic writer. I just believe full disclosure is needed with stuff like this. I wish you the best of luck.

Well, you've done your good deed for the day. The world can rest at ease that the would be cult leader GENERAL EYES was thwarted.

But wait... there are a ton of other places on the Internet that desperately need your help! This kind of thing is happening all over the place! Hurry! Go! People need saving! If you're so busy saving lives that you are never able to return here, well, it'll be difficult, but we'll understand!

What I wrote was a direct response to the OP. To explain why I wrote what I wrote. You call me out for swooping in right after you swooped in to save what you perceive as a damsel in distress. I went out of my way to compliment the OP and say I like what she is doing. I was just giving people all the information. I even said sorry if I was a buzzkill.

That is the difference between you and me. I did not directly attack the OP. I just presented a different view. You directly attacked me. But it was humorous. So I still liked it. I gave you stars just like I gave every post by the OP a star and this thread a flag. I even went and bumped her stories back onto the first page of short stories. So people can see how good of a writer she is. If she were to write a book. I would be the first in line to purchase it.

I guess in my storytelling there are many Eddie's. This is true, and thank you for the kind words about Eddie (Senior). He is a different "Extra-Dimensional" entity from whom I an inspired in many ways. Some call them "the Muse". I certainly don't wish to give the impression I am any sort of mystic or channeler, for I do not deserve (or want) such titles.

I just enjoy sharing a bit of insights from my "friends" who inspire me from time to time.

There's a whole host of ED's in my world, (like I said, common name and common thematics - they have all sought to create and inspire beauty, and protect such from harm).

I know little of Scientology, though I will admit to having had my IQ and Thetans tested when I was younger. I was much more arrogant back then and remember taking a copy of Dianetics back to the Institute at the time with some liner notes and highlighted portions of the text. I was a bit arrogant about the manner in which I returned it, (I opened the front door an hastily threw it inside before storming off) and I feel horrible about that now.

Sorry if I got defensive about "little e"...he's still a kid and I guess my maternal instincts took over.

No harm, no foul. I probably got a little defensive myself. I said my piece and I will not take offense to little eddie again. The little guy is sweet, and kind, and dare I say awesome. I did not mean what I said to come off like an attack. That was actually me, in my own way, paying you a compliment. Like I said, I think you are a great writer. I hope to read more from both you, little eddie, and eddie senior.
