After the Ebola outbreaks started near the US Bio-Defense research facility in Kenema near Gueckedou, and while Ebola-infected bodies line the streets in West Africa, guess what's up?

Obama to Announce $14B in US Corporate Investments in Africa

A White House official says the investments include projects in the energy, banking, construction and information technology fields.

....Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced an additional $10 million for a U.S. initiative to finance clean energy sources in Africa.

The White House said in a statement that the funds “will deepen U.S. economic engagement in Africa, fueling growth that will support broader African prosperity and emerging markets for U.S. businesses.” Obama also hopes to outpace China, which is currently the continent's biggest investor and trading partner.

Welcome civilization, prosperity and factory farming.

…..Discouraging bush meat consumption and introducing livestock as an alternative to hunting are part of long-term solutions against the risks of contracting Ebola from the wild, said Juan Lubroth, chief veterinary officer with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Rome.

"We recognise the importance that bush meat has to quality nutrition that you may not get from only crop-based diets. We do not say that you should stop wild meat … but [url=http://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2014/aug/04/ebola-risk-guinea-fruit-batscan we replace the need to go to the forest and hunt wildlife with having a source of livestock and livelihood that can be safer?" ...

"Can we have a more development agenda where we could have poultry production, sheep, goats, pigs … so that there is no undue encroachment into the forest for hunting?"[/url]

Thank you for posting this!

It is always best to look at the left hand when they are guiding you to stare at the right.

The war over resources going on over there in Africa is a shining example of what hidden government agendas can accomplish through their multinational corporations!

It is disgusting on every level and needs to be the focal point in some serious discussion amongst the masses of America

As far as using the bio weapons they have developed, no surprise there, they have been getting away with quite the nefarious agenda amongst the African population for far too long. Demanding an end to such programs is simply common sense and its been a long time coming

They've kept Africa in poverty for decades as it's population and resources given a chance to get out from the oppressing lives could give them world prominence. With globalisation and Chinas fuelling the conflict in Darfur by supplying Sudan with arms and gaining access to their resources, America wants to get in there and quick....

Sofi can I get some more info on how specifically the Ebola outbreak fuelled this? Also some more info on the location and relationship to the crisis of the Bio-Defense research facility would be a interesting read.

Many of us seen something coming but this is something that most thought improbable.

This is absolutely the plan IMO. The US is guilty of mass murder across the Globe but to just put it in our face is the trigger.
It's a challenge.

"We are going to commit open genocide to get what we want. If you can't stand against us in your home, what will you Do now? Nothing? We thought so."

The challenge? If we back away now, they win everything while knowing they can now implement what they want on a Global scale because the surfs will not challenge.

Peace

You are probably right. Man the corporate vultures didn't even let the bodies hit the ground yet. Our dear POTUS the enabler.

Is it really the US? Are there no other candidates? From May of this year:

Last week, China’s Premier Li Keqiang toured Africa for the first time since he took office in 2013. Li visited Ethiopia, Nigeria, Angola, and Kenya, meeting with numerous heads of state to discuss the developing relationship between China and Africa. He capped off his visit with a pledge for an additional USD $12 billion in credit and funding to boost economic development on the continent.

It’s important to look at this announcement in the context of China’s briskly growing profile in the region. While investment from more developed countries has remained about the same in recent years, China’s flows to Africa have increased significantly, fueling excitement about development and concern about the effects on the environment and communities.

Are suppose to pretend that Ebola has not had outbreaks dozens of times over the last few decades so we can pretend that this time is unique? It is Amazing how America seems to control every coup, war, disease, natural disaster etc. on Earth.

Don't worry theyre workin on it.....
Drug resistant TB....HIV.....wouldn't be surprised to see WHO doing more to spread disease than prevent it either....
Personally, I think its time to take the rose glasses off and see that our governments are well capable of such atrocity....
as well as the corporations that run them......that the people are simply a resource for their continuity...like the resources available in Africa...there to be exploited...

NOTE that the US Bio-Warfare team is affiliated with two different hospitals in 2 distinct areas: Kenema, the acknowledged epicenter where the 3 countries' borders meet (Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia); and another in Nigeria, at the the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital. ....I'm waiting and watching for the news that Ebola is out of control in Nigeria - they'll blame Sawyer for bringing it there but I don't think so.

Uh, yeah. China is Africa's biggest investor by far. And recently, Guinea's new government cancelled the mining permits to the Simandou iron ore fields given by the past (corrupt) government for about $5 million - and signed a $20 BILLION dollar deal with a partnership including a Chinese company - for just 1/4 of the field.

Happens that the Ebola outbreak's epicenter was at Kenema - near Simandou and the hospital where the USAMRIID team was conducting research on viral hemorrhagic fevers, including Ebola.

There NEVER has been an Ebola outbreak in West Africa before. Which kinda makes it a bit suspect that USAMRIID and their corporate partners were researching Ebola there, of all possible places.

They did (or engineered it.) Your stats are valid only up to this epidemic - which now has passed the previous death toll from Ebola, as well as case count. And the evidence strongly suggests that most cases and deaths are not being reported.

Geneva: The death toll from West Africa’s Ebola outbreak has risen to 932 after 45 patients died from 2 August to 4 August, the World Health Organization (WHO) said in a statement. The number of suspected, probable or confirmed cases rose by 108 over the same period to a total of 1,711. Most of the new cases were in Liberia while the number of cases in Nigeria climbed from 4 to 9, including one previous death.

Just curious - after the rose colored glasses come off, what do you see happening?

Nigerian Government Refutes Ebola Outbreak Claims

At a news conference in Abuja, the Minister of State for Health, Dr Khaliru Alhassan, said “most Nigerians mistake Dengue fever, which is also transmitted by mosquitoes in urban and semi urban areas, for Ebola disease.

He dismissed media report that there was an outbreak of the disease, saying that laboratory investigations revealed that it is not Ebola. ....

This new sub-clade is very, very different from standard Ebola. And it looks like it just might have come from our labs - for use in Kenema Hospital in Sierra Leone and the Irrua Hospital in Nigeria. Check out the "Ethics constraints" and the VHFC:

Molecular Diagnostics for Lassa Fever at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Nigeria: Lessons Learnt from Two Years of Laboratory Operation

……..The study was classified as a service evaluation and granted exemption from ethical review by the Research and Ethics Committee of ISTH. …….Service evaluation is exempt from ethical review according to the National Code of Health Research Ethics, National Health Research Ethics Committee, Federal Ministry of Health, Nigeria.
