The Baciu Forest in Roumania

Looking at all of your posts about the trees i can say that the "mistery" is solved,but how about the other phenomenas ?

I recently found out today that people around here also see on the sky some strange things,ussually in cillyndrical,triangle or square-shapped type but it doesnt look like UFOs,it's something else....
Over the internet i found some photos with those forms but they look a bit faked...

I think that there it is also a mass of antimatter here,thats why some people dissapear.

It sounds like the forest is in a very strong electromagnetic vortex. I've heard that these sort of phenomena tend to occur in such locations.

A simple google search under "Electromagnetic Vortexes and Supernatural Phenomena" will help bring up many examples.
Although, my original post was reiterating what tends to happen in such Vortices in regards to ghosts, strange entities, UFOs, poltergeist activity, electronic malfunction, Electronic/Disembodied Voice Phenomena, Orbs, and other strange phenomena.

You should look up Skinwalker Ranch, Another good example of these strange sorts of happenings.

SnF for your first share PaulTheDuke 1 did find the curvature of the trees interesting. If they were not curved from early stages by human hands, what other possible uses would cause these effects upon these trees 1 wonders. Considered maybe something in the soil is absorbed over time as roots grow and when its absorbed from the growth of roots reaching what may be in soil it causes temporary sagging of these trees.
If Human made surprising there are no stories or data sharing why they were altered in these ways.

I also thought it was something strange about those trees because around there it happens a lot of weird phenomenas and i think that the curved trees has some connection with that weird activity,despite the fact i told in a previous reply that the mistery is solved by looking at other members posts on my thread.

Ghost Adventures did an episode about the forest, but before that I'd never heard of it.

Unfortunately the episode focused more on Transylvania, and the clips about the forest didn't seem to be based on much fact, just local superstition.

Very interesting place though, with the reported light phenomena in the area. Does anyone know of any scientific investigations to add more credibility to the reports?

As far as I know this forest wasn't explored to deep or it hasn't been studied because this forest is an underrated place,some consider it "The Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania" but they still haven't did too much research on it....

Destination Truth did 2 shows on the forest & just by coincidence, one of the is on today.

I don't put much faith in the show other than good entertainment.

A deep soil survey or tree rings data collected may help also... Perhaps some structure / mineral deposit sits underneath.

Yes, I remember them in the second episode flying a plane over the forest and using a thermal camera to look for anything abnormal, and they saw that the clearing near the center of the forest was much much hotter than the rest of the forest. Whether or not that would be natural, or even if it was REAL, I can't say.

I am Romanian and heard a lot about this area from friends.

This video is very interesting. It is in Romanian is true maybe the OP can make a short description but the videos and photos presented are really interesting.

I am very interested in Romania, and hope to visit soon. I read Peter Moon's books.. "Transylvanian Sun/moonrise," etc. Good old Radu.

I had a relative who ( in the '80s) was a high level executive in military hardware manufacturing. He said a lot of interesting things were being created and manufactured in Romania, and he travelled to your country often. He mentioned a few spooky spots he'd seen, but didn't elaborate further.

Perhaps he saw a vampire.

By a 'spooky' coincidence a repeat of the Ghost Adventures episode on Romania was aired this morning on Really here in the UK.

I don't find the 'haunted circle' area of the forest so weird - many woods and forests have clearings in them. But what I did find really spooky was at the end of the programme where the 'glowing orb' was seen. Of course, it could have just been someone dicking about but... I'm not so sure.

I have to make a special thread about the round circle in the middle of the forest,fortunately, I found out some other creepy stories about that place.In a roumanian forum i found in the comments the story told by some roumanian tourists camping in that round circle...very long story but creepy,worth to read.
PS: Those tourists didn't believe in ghost stories and other kind of this paranormal activities,despite the fact that villagers around there and a group of researchers warned them about that place...

Could it be possible that there's some thermal activity underground in that spot that would prevent trees from growing but also show up as a hotspot?
