Here's a new law: Firing squad for whomever commits war. Anyone who launches any projectile at another human being is to be executed, Israel included. It's time to cleanse the Earth of all who can't live in peace. After seeing those innocent children maimed and killed, it has to stop. They are literally killing the future. I am not afraid to say it: I HATE BENJAMIN NETANYAHOO.

Do you have a link to some kind of evidence justifying such a statement? Or do you just want to be combative and insult the Holy Father for the sake of being spiteful?

Its there job. They only shoot at those who commit crimes. That is there purpose. If they turn against another who is innocent, guess where they end up? On that line.a reply to: PleiaDsClusterDck

Ok, I still don't understand why we are attacking the Pope and the previous actions of the church...yet completely disregarding the message he was trying to convey.

Let's pretend that this message was vocalized by someone we can all respect. Doesn't it still retain it's importance and profoundness?

I think one of the very reason we have wars is because too many of us are not willing to look past our bias' and ignorance to look at the big picture. War is bad......let's stop and have some damned peace for once.

Who gives a (snip) if it was the Pope or Barney the Purple Dinosaur that said it.....let's agree on this message.

As previously mentioned, I believe Pope Francis has acknowledged the problem and is working to address it. Plus, I don't think that Francis has ever been accused or admitted to committing such an act himself....so I don't see the hypocrisy.

What I think is dangerous here is that we are discrediting the statements of a man because of the actions others in his "group" have taken in the past.

How far do we take that? Do we discredit anyone that represents any group in which some of its members have committed horrible acts?

I don't find that to be logical at all.

If war didn't have any positive aspects, people wouldn't do it. But when you're scrabbling around in the dirt and have nothing to lose and at least a little to gain, then war starts looking like a pretty good thing to try. You make a deal with somebody, get yourself some weapons, and away you go.

The Pope should read the New Testament one of these days. Even Jesus advocated war.

Calling for an end to war? Maybe he should direct his attention to the Vatican Bank account protectors who have their hands in just about every conflict going on around the world.

Church is 2000 years old it's only been 50 years since they stopped having services in Latin. Unfortunately it takes a lot to change the bureaucracy but this Pope isn't playing games he has sent quite a few packing already and is demanding more transparency including outside auditors. Give this Pope a chance and I believe you will be impressed.

I'm not sure what you're alluding too but he has already changed the leadership in the Vatican Bank and brought in independent auditors. At least recognize what the man has done.

Man cries for peace yet does not know the way of peace.
Man cries to stop wars yet cannot see the millions of kids legally killed through child sacrifice, the millions in prison due to our out of control desires, the millions of innocents raped and molested by men and their sexual desire and need for control, the millions with bars and locks on their home windows and cars, the corner methadone clinics etc.....yet man thinks if he just stops wars that he will find peace.....
Man, not knowing the way of peace, will seek it through law.
Man, not understanding the garden of Eden parable, and rejecting the knowledge that the end IS KNOWN from the beginning, will simply be swayed to make Adam's choice having rejected Jesus Christ as THE Way, THE Truth and THE Life.

You ask people to overlook the fact that these statements are made by a man who considers himself Christ on Earth, yet in doing do, you cannot discern that he is already on record as saying that this world needs yet more 'Thou Shalt Nots'. In different lingo - laws.

Now why is this Pope making the same statements as our world leaders? Why does he speak of liberty equality and fraternity like a Freemason, why does his church support Noahide laws of the Talmud , why does he not tell this world tgat the Jesuit order is behind so many false flags and wars designed to sway the world into its desires....and why oh why does he not tell the world at the same time that....

law brings wrath

?

Why does this Pope who calls himself CHRIST ON EARTH, not speak the words of Jesus Christ? But yet, you ask us to set aside all of these things and to latch onto his plea for peace? How is it that this man can cry about peace.....and not ONCE mention the KING OF PEACE as THE WAY OF PEACE?

The world is now saturated with images and stories from these guys pulpits - mass media. The fear of death permeates every article and every news article. What does the fear of death do to man? It enslaves us. It causes us to seek to save our own souls. It causes us to fashion our own coverings....and to hide from God. We will make decisions in that fear based upon the emotions caused by fear. We will agree to pretty much anything if we think we can save our own lives and those of our children. Throughout history, genocides and revolutions have been caused by such panderings to fear of death. Right now we have millions upon millions already supporting a large cull of mankind - innocents - because they have been made to fear death through global warming. Of course, as long as THEY are not on the death list.

This Pope and the world leaders are all using the manufactured fear of death to get us all to agree to their solution.
Global laws. Global police/peacekeeping.

Create the Problem.
Manage the public Reaction.
To implement your solution.

Yet, you want us to overlook the fact that a man calling himself Christ on Earth is speaking the opposite message as Jesus Christ?

Why?

I'll never understand why some people are so petty they can acknowledge good in someone even if they are not a supporter of that person or organization.

My point exactly. I choose to commune with my creator in my own way and I do not adhere to the Judeo Christian sense of the word just like andy but the words the pope spoke should be recognized as what they are, a call for peace. Rather than attacking the man heed the words.

This man who calls himself the title Vicar of Christ, which means "Instead of Christ", must have his words and actions scrutinised. Is his peace call that of Christ or of this world?

One will be false and one is true. There is a way which seems right to man, but in the end leads to death. Therefore, shall we heed this man's words and the method by which he is already telling this world that peace can be obtained - through laws and eucenism - and overlook the fact that he is not preaching the gospel of Christ and God? The fact is, he calls himself "Instead of Christ". Should not the "Instead of Christ" preach what the gospel of Christ states? If he does not, should we not consider the fact that antichrist means instead of Christ? Antichrists don't come with red tails and horns, they come as ministers of righteousness and as a messenger of light. An Antichrist will preach peace. So how will you discern between true and false peace, between peacekeeping and true peacemakers, between true light and false light and between a man that preaches righteousness and a man that preaches the righteousness of God?
