I have read perhaps half of that blog about owls so far, and I have to say, there are many overwhelming 'synchronicities' (a focus of the article), in my own experiences.

Like you mentioned, you found a lot of these 'synchronicities' after reading it that bothered you. Similarly I tried ignoring these, again and closed the article for perhaps reading another day, with the view of not thinking about these things for a while.

Then yesterday, we went to see a movie, planned on Planet of the Apes but were late so decided to watch the soonest movie as we were on a tight schedule. I hadn't checked which movies were on, just a glimpse at the shows on the way there on my phone.

Anyway, the soonest movie had already started, about 10 mins and we hadn't heard anything of it before.

It was about an alien that looked like a metal owl and was the key to it's spaceship that was trying to get home. It was a good little movie, it felt 'right'. I didn't fancy Planet of the Apes at all. I came away from it feeling energised and smiling.

Synchronicity indeed!

Here's the movie clip, I recommend it, if not already seen.

Glad you like the blog. It wasn't after reading Mike's blog, it was after I poked a little fun at a skeptical fellow-traveller for getting tangled up in synchronicities. It was a different blog where the gentle dig was delivered.

I'm not saying they were connected and it could have been coincidence...within weeks, the synchronicities were a little too much and utterly at odds with the way my mind works. After a few months, it culminated with an incident that was so surreal, personal and physical that I questioned my ability to be rational and, eventually, had to put all this to one side.

It was, about an alien that looked like a metal owl and was the key to it's spaceship that was trying to get home.

Mike Clelland frequently writes about the owl and paranormal connections. Here's a Clelland essay on owls.

I find this a very disturbing connection....synchronicity, coincidence or hiding in plain sight?

"The owls are not always what they seem to be."

This is a painting I did after ingesting a species of cactus with some interesting alkaloids.

Whoa, I had some interesting visuals but nothing like that. Did you take artistic license with that rendering?

That is actually a somewhat feeble attempt to render what I was actually experiencing.
At some point an owl flew over me and screeched. It seemed like the Universe dissolved.
I could see my own dna, there were fish flying through me, my body separated into its various components, I could hear the music of the atomic realm.
San Pedro. You can buy it at your local Home Depot. I'm in no hurry for seconds.
It tastes like vomit.

Whilst looking for examples of 'awakeing' and 'Age of Aquarius' songs for another thread I came across this. Interesting lyrics and cover.

Even more weird, I have only just realised that every day at home we use these coasters with owls on them!

Yet more owl 'synchronicity', within a minute of switching on my regular Sunday Brunch program, there is a piece about owls with a live barn and eagle owl, and a guy making their sounds. I took a snap which happened to be yet another 17, it was 'picture 17'. I think I might have to make an owl /1 and 7 thread or stop putting my 'synchronicities' on here.

This has happened to me a few times, most notably and pertinent to this discussion at the Georgia Guidestones. There was a very eery silence there. There are also places in the Outer Banks of North Carolina where I've experienced this, and on the Civil War battlefield near us.

One strange thing to note is that all these places were/are also cell phone dead zones. I don't know if it's a spirit thing or a ley line thing, but it's definitely a thing.

Your owl 'syncronicty' is making a lot of sense

an extract of a short story I wrote at that time
Titled, The Owl

~I know him my his silence.
He is always there, my memory haunted in daylight my fear made real each night, and yet I must exist. I must live.~

thats enough for now, may post the whole thing in short stories forum later
