WHAT THE HELL?????

We have planes down, wars in the Middle East, a massive immigration problem, IRS corruption, high unemployment, a weak economy, growing unrest in Europe. . . .

And all our political leaders get a 3 week vay-cay?

Hell, I realize that Travelocity doesn't do refunds, but seriously, do your jobs!

Personally, I will never believe another politician. "I feel your pain, but could you hurry up? I have a tee time at 11:00."

I admit, working 3 hours a day, 3 days a week can get tiring. Sometimes you simply need a 3 week all expense-paid (by tax payer) vacation.

I mean Congress has passed. . . well. . . . I think it's 3 bills this year. (Just thinking about it makes me exhausted!)

So politicians, the next time you claim that you are working for me, I want to see a time sheet. I want to authorize your vacation. (hint: I probably won't) I want to see receipts.


After all, you are spending my money.

Instead of terrorists threatening to bomb planes, and malls, subway stations....bomb the dam golf courses. Bomb ALL of them back to mud pits. That would light a fire under some of our most prominent politicians.

But what do we do about the self-serving politicians who parade like a hooker on Bourbon Street?
I have far more respect for the hookers on Bourbon Street.
They (politicians) laugh at us, and scoff at the idea that their gravy train might ever end.

There has to be a militia forming some where here in the states. If i knew of one, i'd quit my job right now. Perhaps there is a militia, a small one being kept secret until they have large enough numbers to take back our government. If there is one, holler at yer boy.

There has to be a gathering soon to simply say enough is enough. It would be great if businesses just shut the doors for one day,have it like a paid holiday so people wouldn't lose a days pay. Then people could gather at a local area to protest. Our business would close the doors on a rainy day so why wouldn't it work? Wishful thinking I know but some day people have to stand up. It's just too crazy these days not to notice.

I agree with you 100% Beezer. The one thing that stood out to me however was, the above statement has been going on for several years actually. Again, I do not think Barry should be out golfing at a time like this, and believe you me, I can't stand the guy either, but fact is these problems have always and will always be happening. Besides, with the decisions and actions he makes, are we not better off with him as far away from the Oval Office as possible?

I just can't help but think of this song whenever I think about what is happening. Thing is, this song was relevant 25 years ago, and still is today. I can guarantee 25 years from now it will be as well.

I hear ya but sometimes I think we'd be better off with all them gone. In fact, we might be better off if they never returned. Then we could get some new blood in there with fresh ideas and outlooks.
