So it is probably not hard to figure out I am a metal person based on my avatar or whatever.

Being a metal fan I put Maiden as one of the 3 best metal bands ever. Having seen them around 12 times live over the past 25 years it never stops to amaze me what they do live. All of the guys are 55 or older having sold some number north of 85 million records over their 35+ year career , ignoring all the tours and merchandise, none of them would ever have to do anything again. Except that is not Maiden and in June they played to a huge crowd at Rock Am Ring 2014. Bruce Dickinson still is as good , energetic and engaging a live man as their is. To me he is a modern Freddie Mercury with his ability to interact with huge crowds.

Anyway, for those metal fans out there... UP THE IRONS!!!

My Prince. First bump, and thank you.
Harris seems to me the exact opposite up there than was
Entwistle.. so into it, he's screaming along the lyrics while
flailin'. Happily and like Robbie R., without a mic on it.(whew)
Fast Eddie can change clothes and hoping nothing else!!

Let me rephrase. Maiden is bad ass but I myself have taken a different direction.

S 'n F for you good sir.

I never really got into Maiden until i heard the 7th Son album, and it wasnt until i, finally, got
to see them live here in Melbourne that i fully appreciated them.
Suffice to say that now, they're in my top 5 groups, behind Led Zep, Def Lep, Crue and Kiss.

Cheers Mate

Scorp.

I love Motorhead but have they ever been on the scale of a Maiden live show? I know not their thing but I guess that is what I am looking at.

Same with Sabbath. Loved the RJD version but the Ozzy versions did not have the live element.

I'm in it for the tunes. I cant really connect on the same level with Maiden as I do with Lemmy and Ozzy. I'm a booze drinking, smoke breathing devil man.
