The U.S. instigated a coup in the Ukraine. I wonder, could the U.S. be next.

The U.S. has been reducing social programs for decades, even as long-term unemployment rises. According to John Williams of shadowstats.com unemployment is really 23.1%. People who protest against globalization or are part of the Occupy movement get beaten, yet the tea baggers and militiamen get to protest toting guns like they are some Islamic jihadists and the police are forced to behave themselves. Note that if the feds didn't behave themselves during the Bundy Ranch Incident there would have been bloodshed.

I have to conclude that the Tea Party and militias are a controlled opposition. Seriously people who hide in their basements fearing not only the government but 30 or 40% of the population as well can't be a serious threat. If they helped that 30-40% get off government assistance and got the bottom 98.5% behind them, they'd be invincible.

What a Tea Party revolt would do is give the government the excuse to do things that they've been trying to do for decades, like eliminate social programs -- after the controlled opposition takes over, of course.

I think you have got some good ideas here. I honestly think the general American population is much too complacent and brainwashed to ever even attempt a revolt.

But a revolt is what TBTB need, a revolt is what they have been gunning for - I think they underestimated just how much damage their brainwashing has done and now they are unable to get a ruse out of us even when they try.

I think you could definitely be on to something with the militias and Tea Party being controlled opposition. But I really really really hope you are wrong. The Bundy Ranch situation was the first time I was proud of my fellow American citizens in a LONG LONG time. It was about damn time that somebody showed the FEDs the other side of the barrel of a gun.

Never happen. We are a country where the opposition (them-ie: military/gov/industrial complex)...is WAY more funded and financed than we the citizens.

They would kill and imprison us all if we tried, using super weapons to get rid of huge multiples of us at once. One soldier at the controls of one nasty weapon could potentially wipe out tens of thousands of us in a revolt.

Interesting. Now if you couple this thought with a few that are PR masters and wait for the next world war it is a possibility. Start the propaganda machine, try to incite a war between the US and another country or a war that the US must get involved in, it becomes a world war and while the US is occupied with sending troops and heavy machinery to those countries the militia attacks internally taking over the smaller states first where they will have more support and grows to a hefty size force.

I think you def have a good theory and it is quite possible that the Gov has created groups like the tea party to instigate a revolt. But i think you under estimate the American people. I happen to be affiliated with a local militia I wont name names but we know if revolt were to happen it wouldn’t be Armies having at each other on open battlefields and bayonet charges lol. It would be organized guerilla warfare. Something armies and governments are weak against. Like what lightedhype said most of the people here wouldn’t fight they would be to brainwashed into thinking the resistance is a terrorist group or to scared to fight or to complacent in there lives to care that much.

My concern is that these people want to let something like a third of the population starve. If you got the government against you can't afford to have half the population an enemy too which is what you'll have if you go this route.

Eliminate the corporate welfare like dismantle the military-financial complex and force companies to compete and soon you'll have companies that produce real value and are competitive. Such companies will then expand production and employment, thereby eliminating unemployment in a few years more.

Stopped reading right there. Guess you forgot all about Russia launching it's invasion of Crimea, a part of the Ukraine, immediately following the closing ceremonies in Sorchi, eh?

Occupy failed because the progressive mind can never find and stay on one direction. It is like a paper bag floating in the winds of apathy.

That being said the mood of the country is scary to say the least. People are no longer speaking out in public forums and groups. Many are afraid they will end up on some kind of list or be arrested. The health care protests were the last large gathering of like minded rational people in the US. Even with 5 million people losing unemployment benefits we still see nothing.......This is bad........very bad.

People need this outlet as a release valve of sorts and the PTB using fear have taken this outlet away. When the people finally do start standing up again it might be epic with all this frustration and anger building over years. Many people I talk to are outright mad about the direction of this country and the loss of the American dream. People fee like they no longer have a future. What this all leads to is anyone's guess. Apathy, indifference, tolerance, denial run very deep in the people of today.

How? Were all the people who protested and all the politicians who pushed for change on the US payroll? No. The premise of your OP is wrong. Is it possible that people do things for themselves without the CIA orchestrating affairs?

This has more to do with Europe and the desire of most Ukrainians to be closer to the EU. After all, being leashed to Russia has meant their GDP has stagnated, whilst nations that have attached to the EU have seen significant positive change.

It is said and usually accepted these days that the US destabilises foreign lands by arming rebel groups who go on to create revolution among the peoples of that land.
The US doesn't have rebel groups to do this with but now that the boarders are wide open and given that the country is being over run by illegals being bused in - these will be your future rebels - they are simply prepping the way for future plans. Why else would they do this and most of them are hardened criminals coming in under the guise of juveniles - perfect candidates being imported.
Yes I do think US is next - Good luck to you all you have like other countries allowed this to creep up on you!

They didn't invade, they merely let Crimea join the Russian Federation. This prevents the U.S. from kicking them out of their naval base and putting a U.S. one in its place. There are already NATO bases in eastern European countries. Russia merely prevented the U.S. from giving them a double dose of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Obviously the politicians were on the pay.

Imagine if Russia instigated a coup in Canada, the result would have been WWIII.
