Need online detectives to help me find a comedy video

Hello friends. I know we have all at times looked for videos or performances that we have seen on line. At this point in time it is rare that we aren't able to find a clip or snippet of something we've seen that we would like to watch.

Go back to 1992 and there was a Roseanne Arnold Standup special on HBO. This performance she was wearing a Gold Lame pants suit. The link to evidence of the performance is here: www.ew.com...

I have not in over a decade been able to find a trace of this online. I even reached out to HBO and Roseanne's channel to see if it was available for purchase. Can ANYONE help me find this video. I will compensate you. Help. Thanks.

She might have had them pulled due to copy right and royalty infringements. That happens a lot.

Those performances aren't the ones. That is the challenge. Whether she had them pulled for copyright or was otherwise "whitewashed", every other performance she has done I can find or can purchase. This one is missing in time.

This is not the performance. The one in question she wore an unmistakable gold lame suit. She made statements about her disdain for Georgia H. W. Bush. Her outfit is the thing I keep trying to hone in on. It was described vividly in the Entertainment Weeky review. It is as if the show is simply lost in time.

Here's the IMDB for the special in question. It aired June 20th 1992 as part of the HBO comedy hour series. www.imdb.com... As you said there appears to be no trace of it. Apparently it wasn't very good. Probably didn't give it a full release to mitigate any potential damage to her eponymous sitcom as it was in its heyday at the time. Funny Judd Apatow was a co-producer.

I have to tell you it was one of the best standups I've ever seen in my life. I'm a HUGE George Carlin, Richard Pryor and Dave Chappelle fan and I can tell you this was stellar. I don't believe it wasn't released or distributed because it wasn't good. I feel she was silenced because of her attack on George H.W. Bush in it. I would do ANYTHING to get a copy of it.
