ATS: Iran Arrests Spy Faking Nuclear Company.

"Asghar C" has been arrested by the Iran Intelligence Ministry and accused of attempting to discredit Iran's international standing in regard to uranium enrichment. Iran has stated that "Asghar C" was arrested and handed over to the jurisdiction of the Iranian courts. Iran is accusing "Asghar C" of damaging Iran's international commitments in regard to their nuclear program.



Given that Iran has only referred to this latest arrest by an alias, it seems to me that the Iranian's are desperately trying to avoid foreign scrutiny and perhaps sanctions.

Personally, i don't buy it.

I believe it totaly, this is the perfect time for any old enemies of Iran to throw a spanner in the works and to cause trouble.

I am so tired of this, let Iran produce nuclear fuel and reactors, there is no real reason for stopping them. It is nearly funny that countries that have these capabilities are trying to stop Iran from having them.

I am sure weapons are to be brought up, There is NO proof that they are trying to gain these weapons, NO PROOF, NO EVIDENCE, NOTHING!

The hilarious thing is, that if they did have nukes, they rest of the world would not be trying to force their will upon Iran.

Kriz_4, not sure exactly what would constitute "proof" for you other than Iran conducting a nuclear weapons test but then that really doesn't prove that Iran made it either, maybe they would test one on behalf of NK or Saudi Arabia for all we know.

What can be "proved" is that Iran is going to a lot of effort and extreme expense to bury their so-called peaceful nuclear processing facilities.

Why? Isn't that odd when no other country has buried their peaceful nuclear facilities other than North Korea for instance.

These photos while offering no absolute proof do make for an educated guess (correctly) that the Iranians have a militarized nuclear program in progress.

Steps you can see above with your own eyes along with an advanced missile program point towards it being rather more likely than not that Iran is indeed running a weapons program.

The argument "Others have them justifies us having them" falls flat when one considers that the more countries with nuclear weapons - the more likely their use becomes.

Why would anyone wish to aggravate an already ongoing problem of proliferation. In a slightly more perfect world no one should have nuclear weapons so why add to the problem? why would one wish to allow this?

Why would anyone advocate more weapons rather than limiting countries in possession of them along with reducing existing countries stockpiles aiming for total elimination.

I just don't get the "you have them, so should they" mentality - it seems suicidal to me. There are folks out there that want hasten an armeggeddon though.

To wrap up it is very apparent that a lot more than "NOTHING" is going on in Iran.

Whether or not "Asghar C" is real, or who this character actually works for will probably remain a mystery, although a public show trial might draw out some details.

As for whether foreign agents are at work in Iran, I would imagine that just about every major world power is very well-represented in Tehran these days.

Certainly, the U.S. alone no doubt has thousands of Iranis on the payroll, with more than a few in positions of influence.

Whatever the leanings of the individual involved, this is a particularly treacherous time to be a member of the government of Iran.

There will be a lot more news coming from Iran soon enough.
