US authorities have been warned of a specific terrorist threat to Entebbe Airport in Uganda later today.
The US embassy in Kampala said Ugandan police had informed them that intelligence sources believe there is a threat to the airport from an unknown terrorist group.
In a statement the embassy said the threat was apparently aimed for "today, July 3rd, between the hours of 2100-2300".
All electrical and battery-operated items must be removed from hand luggage at airports amid tightened security, Sky sources say.

Well that depends on the Sun or Son.
Slings anything our way that will effect electrical systems and who knows.....they may even blame terrorists.
Bit like the malaysian aircraft that went missing.
Geomagnetic storm? Radio blackout?
If an aircraft was on autopilot their waypoints and true north may have effected gps without anyone knowing leading to an imminent end.
