How much longer is the "global warming" popup survey thing going to go on for?

I don't usually complain, but when I do...

For those of us with slower connections, older browsers, or more beat-up machines (the lumpenprole of the internet, as it were), the popup survey is a big hassle. It cuts in over everthing else, often requiring me to re-size my browser. It makes the site (already slow to load due to all the graphics) even slower to load. It has caused me to shut down my browser and go elsewhere on the internet due to general lack of usablility on more than one occasion.

This site is already so overburdened with incomprehensible bells and whistles, its just a bit too much in my ever-so-humble opinion.

ATS: I love the content, I can't stand the feature bloat. One man's opinion.

I haven't seen a survey pop-up in some time. Are they still running those things? I thought the surveys were cool.

Anyway, is it possible you're having a caching issue?

Have you set your browser to save passwords and logins?

When I visit ATS, I'm already signed in and never see the survey. Only once when I wasn't automatically signed in did I see that survey.

I'm mobile. But I always use desktop versions of websites.

Well that damn pop up covers half the screen and it's very very hard to X out of.
And it's been a on ass time now. Aren't the results of that pole good enough yet sheesh

Whenever I visit the site 'unprotected' it pops up. Very obnoxious. Seems like it's been going on for months.

So many horrible quirks on ATS lately making bareback browsing almost impossible on any device.

All I get is the dang Dodge ad.....errr
Matters not if I am logged in or not it pops up. When not logged in I get 4 differant popup ads...err again.

I really wish ppl would stop acting like Fios & Comcast and actually fix it!

It's astonishing that the advertisers don't realize that obnoxious, repeating and ugly ads are counter productive.

When the icecaps melt and the servers are underwater, apparently.

Just to clarify my position, I am not concerned enough to bother voting.

What do I have to do to get these obnoxious ads to stop invading my consciousness!
