Yes, thanks Seraph.

The three balls in the upper left ccorner are not street lights, they move.

They appear static to me.

If you're serious then I suggest looking at the video again under a higher definition screen. It should clear up any confusion.

that is if you can differentiate street and tail lights from 'otherworldy' sources of illumination.

I probably wouldn't be able to point out the car and street viewing from a mobile device myself, to be honest.

It looks like the person that filmed this snickers as they film a car driving up a slight inclined road from the vantage point over the top of their roof to give it that 'in the sky' feeling.

It could also be a floating city....

[edit] - on second thought I now see what you're seeing.

Hard to tell without any actual reference points in the video. I mean, is that part of a roof? Or...a banister? My guess would be boats on water.

Not trying to play the part of the skeptic...but I don't think this one will stand up to anything. People are going to make their claims so I made my debunking claim.

Other than that, there's a chance this could be some kind of odd unidentified flying object.

I'm gonna go with something out at sea.

It would be nice to know which direction the camera focuses on to get a more accurate analysis.

Good..I cannot explain the movement to myself.

It cant be at sea, one of the lights dips while the other two remain still.
It looks like its filmed from an apartment balcony looking towards the hill in the distance.

There is a small black point, maybe trees or a building, under the center of the three lights. They seem to stay still relative to that.

Dana Point is described as having one of the only harbors on the Orange County coast. (Boats sound even better now.) It is between Los Angeles and San Diego.

But tell me, do UFO's want to be seen or not. Some conspiracy theorists say they are visiting us in secret and the major governments have an agreement to stay quiet about them. If, on the other hand, they want to be seen, surely they would have landed on the Super Bowl field at half-time (or something similar).

I can't fit this into real UFOs, sorry.

Looking at it a second time, I do see some movement. I just can't take "lights in the night sky" footage seriously. I see it and dismiss it immediately as 99% of the time it's just that: Random lights in the night sky that could be anything. Could be flares. Could be a boat. Could be aircraft. It's intrinsically worthless.

Not to knock your OP or anything, I just find very little value in such footage. Daytime footage is usually more interesting to me. I can't really look at this video (it's already poor quality) and jump to the UFO conclusion. I'm not saying you're claiming it's aliens, but I don't find it all that mysterious or fantastic.

Same argument I make, drives the believers crazy and they refuse to answer.

Does a whale jumping out of the ocean want to be seen? Does a Tiger pouncing on its prey?

It is very hard to tell but I would attribute the movement to the shakiness of the camera. I'm not seeing the dip. Some lights seem to dim while others shine bright.

Unless someone can take the time to stabilize the video and add some saturation or other effects to light up the skyline of the hill or w/e. Still pretty hard to tell for certain what it could be.

Can't know for sure but I'm still going with boats.
Just because of my experience of seeing similar videos and they more than likely could have been explained by masthead lights or others. Cabin lights can give off that EBE ooomph or zing.

Not very good examples because we have conclusive evidence of both of them doing just that. Kind of destroys your argument ....

In the moment how would I know the motivations of any of the three?

Just because they are seen doesnt mean they want to be seen or care that they are.

That's the problem, they are not seen. We have unclear youtube videos. But since you went there ... logically there are only two options.

A) They do not wish to be seen.
or
B) They do not care if they are seen.

Which one is true? Because both options fail a logic test.
