In my home state there has been a lot of controversy about doctors that prescribe pain medications and then stop abruptly because of the high cost of
malpractice insurance. This can often cause the patient to endure strokes, heart failure, seizures, among many other medicals problems. How should
these doctors be dealt with?
They end up causing the patient more problems than they had prior to treatment in which they started.
I personally know people that have suffered from all these problems due to being cut off from medications that they had been taking for many years in
most cases.
Is this infact a form of medical malpractice?
