Ukraine: Goverment Sacked!

Ukraine's parliament has passed a no-confidence motion in the current government.

The vote with 229 in favor came minutes after the chamber turned down the motion by a vote of 222-1.

But several hurdles remain before opposition leader Viktor Yanukovich can claim victory.

Outgoing President Leonid Kuchma announced moments earlier he supported holding an entire new presidential election - not just a revote of the disputed second round.

Looks like the people got what they wanted... for once...
