Have you noticed that Windows time is 2 minutes behind of the watches today?

I set my Casio (a simple, well known casio digital, the most common) according to the windows time some days ago, I always do. Today, when it beeped twice, I looked at the windows time and then I realized my pc was 2 minutes behind. Weird. Thats a big change.

Mine is exactly the same

time.gov...

My systems are using window time server. Checked against the above link and they are in sync.

Question the accuracy of the watch.

-edit- I found a scar today or yesterday which I can not remember. Maybe I am being too paranoid but. Still. =). (Btw, I dont care. Maybe they had a business with me. Lol.

You need a new PC battery. That is the first sign that your battery needs replacing.

If your watched traveled very fast, it would lose time compared to the other clock. I would replace the battery if it is old.

Watches nearly always run faster when the battery is failing. Its because of the way the circuit is designed.

I've disabled the time server updates on my PC and it is still 3 minutes behind my cable box ...

Yes, oscillators generally run faster as the voltage drops

My wristwatch is in perpetual sync with the network of atomic timekeeping laboratories.

It reads 11:09 and 10 seconds.

Windows shows 11:08 and 20 seconds synced with time.windows.com.

So Microsoft isnt synced with atomic awesomeness but still well within reasonable accuracy.

No conspiracy in my cubicle.

Have you synced your computer time recently?

Computers do not continuously sync -- they only do so on occasion, or when manually synced. It's possible that your computer battery (the internal battery that keeps things such as the clock going -- which is NOT the same as the big laptop battery that lets you work without being plugged in) has slowed enough that it has not kept the proper time since the last sync.

I am sure its not my PC. Its my Watch. And my watch is NEW. Only 4 months old. So the battery is new as well...
