Although the sentence seems harsh, why should people who have suffered financial loss from this individual's thieving then have to pay to keep him in a prison for the rest of his life?

I do think there are some crimes, (only when there is absolutely no doubt about guilt) that do deserve the death penalty), however I am steeped psychologically in the 'death penalty' its not our place to legally kill' syndrome'.

I do think Iran is a special case for this because of the burden of sanctions foreign governments have placed upon it, so the people are already suffering from low finances and to steal would be a greater crime to them, than to us.

I admire Iran's guts and the way it sticks to its ideals. It seems to be a country that is used as a pawn when it suits the USA and probably UK and dropped instantly when it doesn't. I have Iranian friends and I know how they worry about relatives still there and the hardships they face.

It also begs the question is Iran a more honest country than Saudi to its principles?

Tree + rope + bankers = justice.
I would love to see this happen to the traitors in America. Crimes against humanity should be met with this punishment very quickly every time. Unfortunately, it's glorified here in America, hence, The Wolf Of Wall Street. I'm tellin' ya, trees and rope works!

Well played Iran. Well played.
