Remember Srebrenica 1995? This man was sentenced for killing 7500 muslims there. He is in Norway now, in a low-security prison cell.

The Bosnian-Serbian war criminal Dragan Obrenovic, 41, is sentenced for the murder of 7500 Muslims, but he serves his time among petty thieves in Norway.

Obrenovic was sentenced to 17 years in jail in December 2003 for contributing to the massacre in the Bosnian city Srebrenica in 1995.

Three war criminal sentenced by the United Nations serve in Norwegian jails. According to the Norwegian paper VG, none of them serve in high security cells...

Progress Party leader Carl I. Hagen demanded a government explanation after newspaper VG reported that Norway is part of a witness protection scheme that includes giving war criminals a new life and identity.

"If Norway is taking part in such a program and keeping it secret, this is very dramatic," Hagen told VG, and pressed for a full explanation from the Norwegian government.

"It is a paradox that one can end up in Norway with a new name, new home and new job after slaughtering thousands of people. Then it is nearly rewarding to be a war criminal," lawyer Michael Carnavas at the UN tribunal in the Hague told VG

That�s nice. Kill thousands of people, get a new name, new home, a new job and a new life afterwards.
