Apparently, if the comments on that linked article are to be believed, the Archangel Michael himself and half the Saints came down and did battle on the Catholics behalf. Wars, torture, disease, plague, child abuse world-wide ... and the Heavenly Host intervenes to stop the equivalent of bad dinner theatre ...

Wow. Just ... wow.

The take-away from this is, I would guess, is that the venue needs to be secured in advance. Also, I think the Satanic Temple might do well to act on its own and use its own creativity in designing rituals in the future. Leave the silly French fictional crap alone.

I'm pretty sure this was a "learning opportunity" for them. They'll be better prepared next time.
