I don't really hate these songs, per se. I just think they have strange messages for love songs.



Apparently, stalking was much more acceptable back in the day.



This song seems to say, "Hey, we were going to cheat on each other. Isn't that funny? We have so much in common, we should get together."



Here's the song that says, "I love you because you don't mind that I'd rather hang out with hobos than live with you."

Most love songs are crap, notwithstanding the handful of masterpieces. (Wild Horses by The Stones comes to mind)

Here are a couple particularly insipid pieces of dreck:
