Xbox and imac

Ive tried this in almost all relevant forums so I thought I would put it here to:

...I hope someone can help with what I would consider a hard question.

I am planing to move my xbox to my room but only have an airport that reaches that location. I don't want to buy a WLAN
receptor for my xbox so I thought about connecting it to my imac with a cross-link cable. Now that explained, I have 2 questions:

1) Is this even possible?
2) If it is, how do I do it? (I'm a noob in such things)

If your iMac gets internet thru the airport, you can set up internet sharing thru the ethernet,

you would have to do that in preferences > sharing.
