Does anyone believe that zombies are somehow related to the disease leprosy? Think about it, Your skin turns colors and rots, limbs and other body parts fall off, sound familiar?

I don't know about leprosy but so i'll take your word for it that thats the effects of it. But a disease which makes you rot and have your limbs fall off is enough to make people think you're the living dead. Its an idea which fits in perfectly.
