Reporting Australian UFO sightings

A few days ago my mother had a sighting of a black triangle ufo at extremely low altitude in the Newcastle area of NSW.

No photos or videos were taken, as she said she saw it for around 5 seconds before a building blocked her view.

I would like to report the sighting, so hopefully other people in the area may come forward who also saw it and have more information.

The question is, what is the best way of reporting in Australia? There are a few UFO type clubs online, but a most look like the websites are from the mid 90's and haven't been updated for years.

I cant believe she had the sighting, I had left her house only 20 minutes before she saw it! I have had an interest my whole life but never seen anything really unusual. My mother didn't really have any idea, she just rang me and said I just saw a weird plane, it was a dark black triangle with lights on each tip and it was just above the power lines. Never seen a plane like that before.

Thanks very much. I always thought MUFON was for sightings in the USA.

I will submit a report today. I am really hoping more people saw the same thing.

Has she checked with her neighbours?

What about social networking groups in your area, local news desks etc

Yes apparently there was no noise whatsoever.

She did ask around the neighbours the next day but no one saw anything.

It was actually right next to a small shopping centre, it was 8pm but it was still open, so I am guessing at least a few people must have seen it.

I didn't think of the news, I might send an email to our local news today and see what the response is.

I am 50km's Nth. of Newy.

Saw a silent triangle not too long ago - maybe 6 months.
The one I witnessed was a semi-translucent green tinged thing. Had me squinting !!
( Eta: Mine was a night time event )

Bear in mind Williamtown RAAF base is in the middle ...

Hope MUFON are aware and responsive ...

i am in Sydney...and i saw a similar sight almost 7-8 years ago... off the coast from Manly....
