I know the sun is probably not invisible, ...iin spaaace!... or otherwise, but with a flashlight, I was gonna say, going by this guy's rules of "it must reflect off of something first", that, the light reflects off the matter which makes up the glass lightbulb and the filament and the shiny reflective material surrounding the bulb, and even in space without a helmet, it reflects off of the clear part of your eyeball before it enters the inner part of your eyeball that detects light.

I guess its nearly impossible to prove, or disprove, this guy's theory then! Light will always have some form of matter in between it's source and it's beholder, whether that matter is an apparatus of the source itself, or the very eyeballs viewing it. Right?

Light "bouncing" onto the retina, getting converted into nerve impulses which are transmitted to our brain.
This is how SEEING work, in simple words : )

However, it is incorrect and entire bunk what the OP/video says, since light doesn't need a medium "in between" its source and our eyes so we can see it. But this is what the OP claims. Photons (and radio waves etc.) travel through empty space, this is pre-school knowledge, please.

There is indeed no matter inbetween since space is (almost) a perfect vacuum, or at least as perfect as it gets.

This sounds like some theory you just pulled out your a$$, so basically you are agreeing with the more than stupid claim in the video and say it's those few particles which make it possible that we can see a light source. Except that this is wrong.
