People tend to think we are a world of "Kum-By-Ya" put our arms around each other governments who someday will announce "we are not alone". It will never happen.

We ALREADY know it. And it will never happen because this world will never get together on this...mainly because nothing needs to be annouced. The evidence is all around and in abundance enough to more than prove the point they are here...and have always been here.

All those who think disclosure is something to look forward...are deluded.

I asked UFO researcher Dr. Stanton Freidman about discloure in the Ask Me Anything ATS thread. He replied in agreement.

There will never be a join -group -government disclosure. Mainly because this world cant agree on anything. Thats why we have wars.

If disclosure-pros think it through...they would see it that way. But they arent. And theyll never see it happen.

I believe disclosure is already happening as we speak. Just not in the way that many people expect.

Just look at all of the announcements lately regarding discoveries in the quantum world (a number of threads right here on ATS in the past week), along with the announcements regarding the habitable exoplanets as discovered by NASA and the Kepler mission along with a lot of other seemingly unrelated stuff - all strange.

I think it's all related and we're coming to a watershed moment. I don't what it is, but whatever it is, it's something that can't be kept under wraps much longer.

I guess we'll see soon enough. Before the year is out is my guess.

Time to pay attention & buckle up...

I don't know if I could handle the truth.

Grew up thinking one bomb could blow up half the world and worried about somebody dropping it, not from a plane, but slipping from their hands and actually dropping it. Later i learned its a bit more complex but still...

Then it was the Muslims. hiding behind every corner waiting to kill me.

Now it is the NWO or the local cops that will kill us.

I just don't want to worry about an alien invasion that is going to kill me now.

If they wanted to kill us we would be dead already. A handful of government agents have decided in their infinitie wisdom that the world isn't ready. It isn't us who is being naive it's them. Even the Vatican has admitted to the possibility of other life out there and many believe they are fully aware of such life. This is a hi-tech age where people are used to seeing new things on a daily basis, other life wouldn't be that big of a surprise. Sure, some would be a bit apprehensive but so what. People are still racist/sexist/prejudice and that won't change whether aliens are here or not. I don't believe most governments know about their existence, and I doubt the President even knows, it's in the hands of a few who think they can do as they wish to "protect" the world. But their weakness is in their low numbers and since the number of instances is increasing they will have no choice but to come clean soon enough, I hope so anyway.

Governments have no idea as to what this phenomenon truly is. They know something is happening, and has been happening since at least WWII, but they don't understand it. They do not want to admit to this, and this is the reason they use disinformation. If they told the people there is something going on all around us that is of an unknown/alien nature and they are unable to stop it, what do you think would happen? People are already begging to turn against the government in greater numbers; the last thing they want is to admit to being "punked" by some unknown force.

There will never be any true disclosure. They may say some things to cover their own ass, but admitting to anything of real value will never happen. What would they say? "People, there are things going on that blow our minds. These things seem to be almost magical and their nature must be questioned. These things can do as they please because we have no way of stopping them. Now please, go back to work."

I just joined, and was sad to see that Stanton Friedman's thread was closed, since he has stated that "Total Disclosure will never happen. Never."

As much as I'd like to see Total Disclosure in my lifetime, I have to agree with Mr. Friedman. The idea here is not really about the continual denial of the existence of extra-terrestrials (which just deepens the distrust of government), as it is about the cover-up of our own government's despicable past behavior in reference to THEIR ET Contact - and continued reliance on ETs for Advanced Technology wrapped up in that never-examined bundle of BS called "National Security."

Like most everything in this country anymore, the Search for Truth has been eclipsed by "protection of the guilty." THAT is the bottom line why we'll never have Total Disclosure ...

In my opinion, regardless when, we'll encounter them during our exploration expansion - since there's a limited time frame before our standard technology allows us all to venture out into space, whether that's commercialised hotels in orbit or our eventual seeding of the solar system.

The ones keeping the alien reality from us i doubt would be able to prevent aliens from visiting once we the public all get out there into space. And so it's just a matter of time until the technology catches up that you can imagine in 40-60 years a civilian satellite for $50,000 or telescope of $20,000 would be able to see the detail of a coin on the moon or mars. It's simply a ticking clock. By the current rate of technological growth they'll have to disclose everything eventually.

I have noticed something beginning to change though. It very much seems like people are becoming more open and accepting to the idea of aliens, look how many tv shows and movies talk or joke about how aliens are here and the government is hiding it. It's almost become pop culture and mainstream for people to believe the government is hiding alien secrets and has recovered crashed ET vehicles and technologies. Almost as though it's not an impossibility anymore and people have finally digested the evidence and accepted the possibilities now.

The airwaves and media flood daily life with articles and documentaries about alleged aliens. It's all generated by people with wild imaginations and, of course, the subject becomes part of our life. Some gravitate to it based on their fantasy-driven minds and some just enjoy it as entertainment. Trust me, the government is not hiding anything and there are no recovered "crashed ET vehicles and technologies." There is no substance to it.

Where I am going with all of this is quite simple, I want to pose a question to everybody.... Governments have been very successful at hiding it so far but do you believe that they can hide something this huge from us forever? And do you think that it's only a matter of time before the government either comes clean or gets exposed by someone like Mr. Snowden? Because I for one believe that NOTHING can last forever, not even something this secretive.

You have no evidence that any government has any knowledge about UFOs and alleged aliens that is not available to you if you get down and do some heavy and time-consuming research. I'm grateful to Mr Snowden and hope he survives his dilemma but I don't think that he was interested in exposing that kind of material. His bit was the way we're spied on by our own government for nefarious purposes.

Well, I enjoyed the last couple posts, if only from the perspective of the different approaches used by debunkers/disinfo types.

"Andre18" takes the more reasonable approach, saying that yeah, ETs exist - but they're all Out There. And, OK, we'll probably encounter them when we finally get into space. I guess you haven't noticed an "active suppression" of our manned space exploration program.

Under George W., NASA dropped the ball on a shuttle-replacement, although George DID approve another go-to-the-moon project. Once Obama got into office, the moon project was dropped, among other on-going programs, deemed "too expensive." And a shuttle program slooooooooowly got going with a few companies (including glitch-a-minute SpaceX), while we paid $60 MILLION A SEAT to the Russians to get to and from the ISS. So much for the "savings" of gutting NASA, and turning it into just "school science faire" projects of unmanned probes.

"Uggielicious" takes the humorously hard and seriously outdated stance I've already come up against in the Military forum:

Although not well publicized, there have been other UFO/plane encounters that didn't turn out well. I've even read several accounts about the Columbia Shuttle Disaster, that broke up over Texas. One report said that the Columbia was carrying a piece of "alien tech," that may have been detonated by underground ET bases in Texas, like the one near Stephensville.

Another theory is that a corkscrew laser was seen hitting the Columbia as it was on-approach and low over California. (Theories abound on ET bases off the S. California coast, and/or around nearby islands.)

Dont hold your breath for something that will never happen. The evidence is already all around.

I like to agree with you on this. I don't ever believe the governments will ever agree to disclose what they truly know. But if anything ever did happen I would put myself in the #7 column with the fact of being "hey that's cool, and I knew it".
If you want fact just look and search.

(We humans are indeed flying the gravity-cancelling triangles, the TR-3B. They were retro-engineered from ET craft at S-4 near Area 51. Other countries may have their own "beyond stealth aircraft" like the TR-3B, especially Russia and Germany with the remnants of Nazi Tech we didn't import to the U.S. with Operation Paperclip - which was the impetus for our rocket-driven space program.)

(You are close. Our governments have been infiltrated by ET hybrids, if not totally shape-shifted ETs. They may have been exiled from other planets for just such evil manipulation tactics, like manipulating the Stock Exchange. Or they just like playing king-maker in manipulated elections. They crave wealth and power, and Earth has a long history of suppressed technology that is given to us - then taken away.

(I mean, how many times have we "discovered" or been gifted with "anti-gravity" technology - and then had it ripped away from us, when that bunch of "ET gods" left for their homeworld? Because no one on or off our planet wants the natives of Earth to advance beyond them. To paraphrase a WWI saying, "Gotta keep them pregnant and barefoot down on the farm".

(Even our sophisticated entertainment is morph'ing. Little Science Fiction, but lots of Fantasy and ridiculously impossible SuperHeroes - although kids who remember living past lives with Meaning and Truth, are still drawn to. I've even noticed new SciFi magazines in the small press that specify they only want to see "near future, Earth based SciFi." God Forbid we go Out There and find advanced ET races who don't treat Earth like their personal playpen!)

(Earth is a well known and rare "water planet," with multiple and thriving eco-systems. Various ETs since the Age of Dinosaurs have visited, explored, come to burrow in with colonies from their own destroyed homeworlds, deposit remnant animals that can live in an oxygen environment from war-destroyed worlds. They also mine here, and treat Earth like a vast Plant Nursery when their own rebuilding-after-wars starts. And Yes, they occasionally vacation here, seen walking too fast over great distances or up-slopes, due to gravity-assist technology.)
