Bill Clinton on aliens: ‘If we were visited some day I wouldn’t be surprised’

Interesting that Clinton said this on the Kimmel show. I just feel like there is a push to get the idea of aliens into the collective conscious more and more. Notice his body language during the questions about Roswell.

During an appearance on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Wednesday, the 42nd president was pressed by host Jimmy Kimmel about whether he saw any classified information while in office proving the existence of aliens. While Clinton said he had “all the Roswell papers reviewed” and found no clear evidence that aliens exist, he also said he wouldn’t be shocked if intelligent life exists outside our planet or even if extraterrestrials one day visit Earth.

“We know now we live in an ever expanding universe,” Clinton said. “We know there are billions of stars and planets literally out there — and the universe is getting bigger. We know from our fancy telescopes that just in the last two years more than 20 planets have been identified outside our solar system that seem to be far enough away from their suns — and dense enough — that they might be able to support some form of life.”

“So it makes it increasing less likely that we’re alone,” he continued.

“Oh, you’re trying to give me a hint that there are aliens,” Kimmel quipped in response.

“No, I’m trying to tell you I don’t know,” Clinton replied. “But if we were visited some day, I wouldn’t be surprised. I just hope that it’s not like ‘Independence Day,’ the movie — that it’s, you know, a conflict.”

They have good reason to push it, just none of them want to be in office when disclosure, as we call it, happens.
When people find out the pact we made with these devils the world will change forever and not just in the USA. There are lots of countries that will be held accountable for crimes against humanity that make the nazi party look like girl scouts.
Hopefully the ones who hold the keys right now don't die like JFK did or sell to the highest bidder i.e. the same people trying to hide it.

I tend to believe him actually. In saying that though, I am fully aware of the fact that not even Presidents are immune from classification in certain areas - and I tend to believe this is one of those times.

I genuinely believe Clinton asked for all documents related to Area 51 and Roswell but I also believe it is possible he was not given ALL the information - and wasn't told that he was denied this information either.

His closing comments are almost word for word to that of Reagan's.
To paraphrase - The only thing that would unite our fractured world would be to find out we weren't alone, and face superior invading forces.

This is what I'm saying too! How can be people continue to be in such denial of the possibility?

There needs to be a thread listing all of our most advanced technology, where we plan to be at with technology in 5 years, 10 years , so people can start comparing humans to advanced ET.

Probably the only time comparing apples to oranges makes sense.

Presidents are briefed in the subject but only a select few like BUSH have direct access or knowledge of there locations and the locations of stored wreckage. Why do you think most shut there mouths when they get into office, they know but it is a burden to know the truth. And even more to not tell!
It is a futile battle to try to fight, they can kill us with things they invented when dinosaurs walked the Earth. Unless our strategy is to kill ourselves, we just need to keep watching and stealing whenever possible.

When you do pay close attention you will notice one important attribute; they are always phrased in such a manner as to create very strict limits on context.

i.e. in the interview here Mr. Clinton responds that he "searched the Roswell papers" and found no evidence. However, those papers, were very carefully constructed so as to have no real mention of anything "off-world".

It is/will be the case in every instance of "official" word on ET.

What would surprise me is a President having sex in the white house and getting away with it. Oh..wait..

I don't believe the POTUS gets briefed on the subject anymore....during the last Citizens Hearing in Washington in front of 6 former members of the Congress and Senate an ex CIA officer testified that...

Eisenhower had to threaten to invade Area 51 if they didn't cough up the information of what they were doing there. The POTUS doesn't have either the security clearance nor the need to know...Harry S Truman was probably the first and only president to have the full story of what they knew at the time regarding the visitors.

I don't believe that POTUS gets briefed on the subject of ufo's anymore either. I believe the wall of secrecy is so strong and so compartmentalized regarding the subject of ufo's within the government that there may be only a small number of people within some group or subgroup of either the NSA or FBI and/or military and/or CIA, or even some other fairly new department which covers this area. Its possibly a rabbit hole as in how deep do you want to go?

Anyone have that motion magnification software that was recently posted on here? Would be cool to see what happens to ol' Billy-Boy's pulse when he's asked those kind of questions.

We have already been visited, read Ezekiel's account in the Christian bible, although 'ascended to heaven on a pillar fire' reads very much like a shuttle to me, 'they' arrive here from lord knows where, with, presumably, FTL, but need chemical rockets to get into orbit and dock with the mother craft?

In ET's defense that was about 8000 years ago. Though yes, apparently ET did visit Earth, even attempted to colonize it using an interesting "mix" of technologies.

Look at it like this: ET came from a near-by star; say within 10 or so light years. The technology required for that trip isn't terribly difficult to build. Earth can do it today in a rather practical sense. So...travel to near stars, but still use chemical propellant to achieve orbit? Sure, makes perfect sense...provided ET isn't all that advanced, which he probably isn't.

Probability suggests that ET isn't significantly more advanced than Terrestrial Humans, in [I]any[/I] respect.

That is absolutely a great idea. I'm going to post this video in that thread and see if any takers want to give it a go.

I'm not sure if my computer has the software/hardware capable of doing it, so I hope someone who has it already running would like to take a shot, but if no one does I am definitely going to try when I get some spare time.

Surprisingly Clinton was one of those Presidents who tried to gain access to that information. During a conversation (I think it was with a journalist) he made a comment that he does not control the "other" government.

He has spoken about the topic at other venues when he was President as well.

Yes Bil Clinton made a number of attempts to get at the "UFO Secrets" whilst in office. But eventually felt frustrated that his people were given the runaround by bureaucrats.
