Hey!

I'm 20 years old and I'm FIRST year Nursing Student in Poland in my hometown.

Now, in the second semester I have to learn some heavy stuff like pharmacology, dieseses and their symptoms and pathology and much more.

I can do hypodermic and intradermal injection.

Of course I would like to develop my knowledge in English too, not only in Polish, so I started to looking for some interesting videos on you tube.

In my opinion the best are:

SIMPLE NURSING by Michael Linares

PHRM203

and ERIC'S MEDICAL LECTURES.

Please, share your experiences as female and male nurses or nursing students. And if you can, please share some materials for effective learning of this subject

Good for you! Im a guy and an EMT/ERT and not a nurse...but thank you for answering the call. You will be blessed.

The world needs people like you. Try maybe somehow to get a year or 2 experience or education in the US someday! You can learn a lot here!.

God bless you and good luck! MS

Hey I am a Nurse any advice you would like just ask.

I would say a good copy of the Royal Marsden Nursing book is a good start so is Koziers Fundamentals of Nursing: Concepts, processes and practice I can't really remember what other core texts i used. I do think that you are better to go with the journals over the books though because you can get more focused and contemporary evidence to underpin your practice.

It kind of depends though on what it is you want to learn my areas of interest have always been acute nursing care so much of my reading has been around that.

then it also depends on how nursing in Poland differs from nursing in Scotland.

Regardless feel free to ask any questions you may have and i will do my best to help you out

I'm an RN, have been for many years. I love my job and cannot imagine doing anything else. I truly enjoy taking care of people and getting to know them, helping them through both the worst, and best, times of their lives.

Another GREAT resource for nurses and students alike is allnurses.com.

You can find answers to questions, advice, and TONS of funny stories, and, some scary ghost stories too!

How nursing work actually looks like in Scotland? Bad and good sides of it from your own experience?
