Had a friend

I had a friend years ago. I remember him at my 30th birthday party. He wore a funny hat, and he smiled.

He jumped off a bridge not long after that.

He could write computer code faster than me, or you, depending on who you are. But generally, one smart mofo. But he could not resolve. I knew it, or some part of me knew it, the moment I met him.

We, together, created a few things you all use today.

I had a friend who could not find a thing that led him to the gate. The gate is narrow.

You (and I) do not know who we are amongst. But we are all here.

Ever had a friend?

He left a note. It was grammatically perfect, with no exceptions in punctuation. It shadows the animals, now.
