That might be the one thing that could get Snowden to leave Russia!

Somebody is afraid the US might become a police state and thinks the answer is joining Russia...because it's...... what...not happening fast enough for them in the USA and they don't want to wait??

more evidence of US political madness.

Boy, they must really be pissed at Palin up there. Either that or they can't face the rest of the US because of the mistake they made with Palin.

Palin did say she had here sights on Russia

Canada may mass troops on the border soon......three mounties and their dog Rex....................
This has to be more sideways Russian propaganda.....they must have a huge Cyber team working 24/7 right now....

You don't suppose there are just some crazy people in the US.

Hell Hawaii wants to secede depending on who you ask.

Hawaii was STOLEN and should become a free nation.

Alaska was sold in a way that is like stolen. The seller had no right to do so, some corrupt Russian leader. And the US bought it at price considered a steal.

Balkanization..... will that end civilization before peak oil?

Take your pick.

I remember the secession petitions.
I count about five-ten petitions away from all of the United States wanting to secede from the United States.
Next we will see Hawaii petitioning to secede.

A sucker is born every minute. In this case, there are 93,082 suckers. The grass seems greener on the other side, although in reality the situation is very different. I would understand if the petition for joining Canada got so much vote, but this...

I dont think a state can do that through a petition. I'm pretty sure the state legislature as a whole would have to vote on it and intact some type of formal legal documentation the feds would then have to accept..

I dunno.. I'd like to know how it's properly done, this is just my guess cus it hasn't been done in years.

Yeah so did she and I. Many moons ago.

-Seriously, though? This is a little bit insane. Bet someone's just trying to prove a point. Well 10,000 somebodies.

Ok, Just sent her a message:

"Just want to know if you've seen this and your reaction to it:

"Thousands Sign White House Petition for Alaska to Secede and Join Russia"

petitions.whitehouse.gov...

Thank You."

At: www.sarahpac.com...

Hope she gets over our little squabble...

Peace

Nostradamus in his Epistle to King Henry the second above is describing the same group of conspirators that I wrote about in The Eighth Chapter of Daniel. Their plot to take control of the world is also foretold in Revelation 17:10-13.

gee, amazing to read that the bear and the eagle will unite. Maybe the prophecies are unfolding of Nostradamus and St John?

Upon the death of Mabus, Nostradamus states that the "Bear and the Eagle will unite against the Snake and Dragon"

HanzHenry

Only if peoples in Hawaii want to. Do they want to? Never heard about it, I should google that one...

Anyway, I'm surprised some of you are almost insulted by this issue. Hawaii may be American state on paper but it is an island group in the Pacific, people there have their own indigenous culture, language, music, specific looks ... even another timezone sooou... they really are not the same as you and their islands are not 'yours'.

Don't mean to offend anybody just pondering about it in a rational manner, no politics&geointerests but logic and reason, that's all.

Concerning Alaska and this petition, it's a joke people. C'mon

This was sent to Palin, I think it should be sent to Putin
Then he can forward it to the UN, inform them he is going to send in his peace keeping troops to protect all the Russian speaking people of Alaska
How long until Mexico sends in its peace keeping troops to California to protect all the Spanish speakers there?

Oh the world, the world is in a predicament

Daniel 2:41 : The kingdom itself will prove to be divided, but somewhat of the hardness of iron will prove to be in it...the iron mixed with moist clay...the kingdom will be strong and fragile...the offspring of mankind will not prove to be sticking together

Just 100 years since our first big match is it time for a centennial celebration of WWI with the start of WW!!!

A lot of people are not seeing the big picture here and once they do see the reasoning behind it... I'm terrified of where it might lead, when it comes down to it, to maintain their standard of living, people will back war for... resources. Gas and Oil. Ukraine has natural gas, the Arctic has oil. Alaska has oil. Alaska is our 'claim' to the Arctic. The US is not in a million years going to give that up. The US, Russia and China are already in the Arctic... already divvying it up, already negotiating with each other, already setting up shop.

Well if you dig deep then you might find out that the USA had plans to take Canada from the British by force at the end of WWII and the British knew about the plan and decided to give it up without a fight should the USA attack and use naval force to attack the USA.

Canada should cut it's ties with the USA or be dragged down with it.

And in my opinion that war proved that they can, but only if they are willing to go to war. Can international people vote on this site as well, or do they screen IP's or something? If they are allowed to, then the majority are probably Russian, lol. I cannot imagine that there would be very many residents of Alaska who signed this with any seriousness. I wouldn't doubt some people signed it just because they couldn't imagine something like this happening, and therefore they find it funny to see how many signatures it can get.
