Not really. 'Alien' doesn't necessarily constitute extra-terrestrial.

I think in this case it does , these implants usually come along with abduction stories, Leir himself had claimed the implants are of extraterrestrial origin.

I've no reason to disbelieve those results or to think that those results would have been any less reliable than if conducted by 'official' groups.

If someone with a vested interest in the subject tells you the results show X,Y or Z surely that has to be less reliable than an independent test labs results.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and without independent verification the claims are merely belief, add the involvement of NIDS to the lack of independent test results and red flags should be popping up in any ones mind .

The person I replied to claimed "There are no alien transplants". I had assumed he meant 'alien implants', which, no matter which context you take, is an accurate description of the objects. He also claimed that "An alien means a person born on another planet who has travelled to this planet". This is inaccurate, misleading and seemed like a twist of words in an effort to debunk. I didn't hear Dr. Lier say that the implant had categorically put there by an interstellar being. The Dr. appeared to be quite careful in avoiding that assumption, I would think, for that reason. The tests showed that the objects contained matter of meteoric origin. This is not the same as 'proof that ET lifeforms put it there', which the poster alluded to. My issue is that words seem to be put in Dr. Lier's mouth to discredit him. As for the validity of the tests, given the fact that we are so often lied to in that regard, by both independent and official bodies, it seems it is up to your own opinion to decide and I, personally, do not see why this study is any less credible.

ColeYounger

I take this all with a grain of salt

That's a truck load of salt for the bargain price of $19.95 plus handling - with a free redemption from the end days with the first 100 calls...

The ET agenda has been pushed by powers that be through all mass media channels - movies, news, internet etc.

People do not realize that they have been fooled by very people they think are hiding ET stuff.

Every human must ask "why" when you read anything. Why would aliens even come to this planet? And if they do, why would they hide? I am sure if somebody travels a few light years to earth in a very expensive spaceship, that person would like to make an impact on earth by meeting earth's people and sharing ideas at least. The idea that somebody would come all the way for 'fun' or 'to make war on earth people' is preposterous.

The space is a very hostile place. All existing knowledge of space attests to that. Surviving in space for long periods is almost unthinkable.

There are no people or technology from other planets existing on earth. Period.

However it is true that humans on this planet have reached a good level of technological sophistication.

It is likely that some ET race reached earth in ancient times and decided to make earth home. Such an event would have happened at least a 100,000 years ago.

An interstellar journey is always one way. The problem is both energy and integrity of ship.

People really need to get extra-terrestrial stuff out of their system and focus on real issues facing this planet. The fast pace of degradation of environment on earth can and will be disastrous for both humans and animals. The most important issue is to restore this planet.

A lot of speculation in that post, none of which is proven as fact. I don't see why your conjecture is more valid than that of your average 'believer'. Unless of course, you have full, unbridled knowledge of the Universe. If this is the case, I apologise.

Why are you sure of this? Seems very anthrocentric to assume that aliens are motivated just like people (and even people from Earth have a wide variety of motivations to do things).

The space is a very hostile place. All existing knowledge of space attests to that. Surviving in space for long periods is almost unthinkable.

Driving a car at freeway speeds was almost unthinkable a hundred years ago.

There are no people or technology from other planets existing on earth. Period.

How are you familiar with all of the people and things on Earth?

However it is true that humans on this planet have reached a good level of technological sophistication.

How can you difinitively state that there are no people or tech from other planets and that survival in space is impossible, then say its likely that ETs reached Earth a long time ago? Those are very contrary statements to pair together with such certainty.

An interstellar journey is always one way.

And cars will never drive freeway speeds.

Why is it one or the other? Does everything you do focus on restoring the planet? Cause I coulda swore that you were posting in a UFO forum. Did you get it all out of your system?
