Ukraine may have to go nuclear according to lawmakers

During Start 1 The Ukrainians argued that the wanted to keep 46 ICBM's because they were constructed entirely from scratch in the Ukraine. Meaning with equipment and facilities that Ukrainians built with Ukrainian recourses they cited these ICBM's were indigenous to the Ukraine, including the radioactive material. The OP's article is correct in that Putin's build up in the Crimea as well as on Ukraine's eastern boarder, is sufficient for an invasion force that can split the country in half.

Putin clearly wants to treat the fact. That the Majority in Ukraine support alignment with Europe, a violation of treaty related to the Ukraine's Sovereignty.

Putin means that you know.

From the article and in relation to the consistency of Ukraine's current leaders in that a state of war exist between them and Russia implies that Ukraine may already have Nuclear weapons.

It realistically is the only way outside of a full confrontation between US, Europe and Russia is Putin really feels justified in what he is doing. Implied in the article is that to some degree or another the Ukrainian government considered this when Georgia was invaded and have since them developed a contingency.

The KGB are everywhere in Ukraine i am sure. They would know if Ukraine had a bomb or even working on one. Stupid comments like this one will send Putin storming into mainland Ukraine and NATO would be forced to confront him in a hurry cause Poland and Turkey would never stand for it, let alone NATO as a hole letting Russia push that far west.

Germany would be forced to back up Poland with everything they have since the U.S. would have to air lift out of the mid-east and meet up with their heavy tanks shipped into Turkey which would take time. UK and Canadian forces would be sent to cover the north, back up German forces to storm through Poland while Latvia and Lithuanian forces try to hold their own nations and block Belorussian forces.

The rest of NATO in Europe would help storm into Ukraine and cut off Russian forces trying to cut through Georgia to the south. France and Spain would block the Med and pounce on north Africa if they get out of line.

Israel would nuke Iran to stop any Russian troops from pushing south into Iran and pay them back for years of threats. Syria would be nuked and invaded to stomp out the radicals and take land. Lebanon would be nuked to stop rocket barrages and Gaza would be over ran in days. Egypt would be Nuked to stop the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama would cry. India and Pakistan would fight. Japan, Vietnam and the Philippine forces with the U.S. pacific fleet would beet the dog snot out of China.

Sara Palin would stop Russian forces trying to push into Alaska with her chest nukes. Putin would escape to Antarctica then all the rest of the nukes fly and we all die

That was my simulation but to be honest if German forces have to move then I recommend everyone to go dig a hole to hide in cause the nukes will be coming.

Poland is part of NATO, so are many other countries in that region.

There are likely nuclear weapons in Poland that belong to NATO.

I totally agree with them. But I am also pretty much convinced they already are nuclear, having had this foresight back in 1991 (or whenever it was they made such a show of signing the NNPT), and this is just a cover for that action back then when they all of a sudden have nukes again should they need them if/when this escalates. Just my opinion here...well take it with a grain.

Actually in relation to Stalin and Hitler there are questions as to which leader killed the most Ukrainians.

About 7.5 to just over 13 1/2 million in total between each leader.

Oh...trust me. I know. Many of my relatives were among those killed, and both my parents came very close in the camps. We always voted Hitler in our family feuds over this topic.

In those days there were only two choices, not that I am Ukrainians but I learned about your history in College.

My professor was from Yugoslavia where he had been educated and later tortured by the Russians.

Altogether it seems obvious that the majority of Ukrainians do not trust the Russians.

That would be a fair assessment. Many ethnic Russians live in Ukraine now though, and that is where it gets complicated.

Ahhhh, I don't think so. This won't happen, and it will not be allowed to happen. The one-billion dollars from the U.S. (with more in the pipeline) is enough by itself to stop any move towards nukes, and I think it's a certainty that it's not part of the end-game deal.

Yes because legally they are Ukrainian citizens.

It would also make sense that the Soviet Union had its own contingent to the Ukraine.

Genetically Ukrainians and Russians are very much alike though in reality it is very possible the deposed Ukrainian President developed a heart attack because he learned for the first time the Ukrainians had access to Nuclear weapons.
