What Would Gorbachev Make Of Putin and Russian Expansionism?

Cold War never ended from West/NATO side and hence the NATO's eastward expansion.

Russians did not realize this until the attack on Yugoslavia happened.

Since then the Silovaki i.e ex-KGBs came to power in Kremlin.

It was a 'soft coup' when suddenly Yeltsin came on tv and resigned.

Georgia 2008 exposed the hollowness of Russian military.

Downsizing, better training, new equipment soon followed.

However with Georgia and now Ukraine, Russia has told the West/NATO where the line stands.

Line stands at Russia's "near abroad".

Breach of this line will result in WAR and use of Nukes with relish.

If West/NATO has still not understood the Putin's Theorem........then its calm before the storm scenario.

Finally, Russia is not alone in facing off this Neocon agenda.
