I searched and found this referenced in 2011. I thought I would bring it up again to share with all of the folks that may have missed it. It is out there, but informative. Hope you have time to spare...LOTS of links.

What exactly is this site supposed to be and what is it they are trying to sell me for $13?

I am not trying to be obtuse. I just don't get what the site is because of the confusing format.

A bad animated logo and an early '90's style website produced by a semi-drugged shut in who thought the site to be very "alternative" and last updated back in 2009.

Come on, that has to be cool!

essentially rex research sells plans and sometimes stuff for fringe science projects. they are cool because they are a clearing house for lots of fringey goodness that are impossible to find otherwise. whether they are worth your time or not depends upon whether you might ever want to try a fringe science project on your own. at the very least you can use them for search engine search term ideas for stuff you would never find on your own.

i have bought a lot of thier stuff and also stuff from slightly less fringey places like information unlimited.
