Here revelation twenty one, Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no
more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud
voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself
will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying,
nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also
he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
There will be a heaven, no worries there.

OK, I'm not sure what your point is...so you know how to quote one book, the Judaic- Christian bible and repeat verbatim one holy books idea of what
heaven is to be according to their judgment of what will be the "right kind of people" and you missed my point entirely. Heaven in this book, as you
quoted and as I said in my post, is not a 'go to' place above us in the clouds as is being said by most Christians today..that heaven... as is
written, is said will "pass away"...their own holy books words say so. Nothing you quote here challenges that pov.
You do realize though, that there are over 200 'holy books' current and former on the planet, each with its own God/s interpretation, each having its
own version of heaven/nirvana right? What makes this one more 'right' than they are?
I dont doubt the existence one day of a heavenly environment on earth if education and reason are given a fair chance alongside the spiritual and
human compassion. Do I think we need a "Judaic- Christian godhead from the sky" to conceive of this or to achieve that for us? No. I see that view
as a cop out for OUR responsibility to each other, a lazy man sway of wishing away the hard work of making it happen and a way for people to abdicate
their accountability as human beings for their actions and hide behind the skirts of self created deity.
As far as I am concerned, heaven, well, we only need a DECISION to make it, and then concerted action on that decision compelled by a collective human
will to make it happen. This is to say that I feel we need only stop waiting for it to happen for us.
If we are as this holy book says, created in Gods image then look about you at what IT made not man, and see for a second that complex simplicity, the
diversity and unity and what it presents is also WITHIN US as a result. In that I personally see that we are infants yes, but also creators as well,
gifted with conscience, will, mind, spirit and physical hands to make it happen if we want to..
nothing is stopping us but us from turning this
planet into heaven right there and now...and the rest, its just hyperbole to me. Long winded excuses sent or concocted to help us to deny our reality,
as to me, heaven internal and external, is a matter of choice and will in alignment.
More though, any deity that created me human and then seeks to removes that humanity or wants me to ignore those two gifts ( reason and compassion) in
threat or by force..isn't "God". Even more...why believe we are feeble useless creatures if God is truly great? Why would that being make such
worthless things except as toys or cannon fodder in a God v Devil war? The answer to me is simple..it didn't create us that way...and the present day
belief we ARE just cannibalistic fools, is the biggest of the BIG LIES....it has us even believing it!
I am not saying there is no God or that humans
are God....I am just not falling victim to lies, or underestimating any actual God there may be
who may indeed have created this planet and universe, by underestimating its creation of a sentient human capable of comprehending it.
