It seems that Eastern Ukrainians have polarized against Kievs junta, and the so called "national guard", which are Right Sector Fascists legalized and armed by the junta.

In this video a junta truck attempted to smuggle RPG-18s, rounds for RPG-7, hand grenades and ammunition into Eastern Ukraine.

Same here, just local people stopping illegal military operation by the CIA-Kiev junta.

Do you even know what junta means i keep seeing you use it and it really doesn't apply to kiev.See a junta is a military take over where a general uses his armed forces to take over the government. This is also called a military coup it kind of the way Crimea was taken over military is sent in to remove the sitting government. So this leads to alot of confusion when you say Junta because this tends people to think of the Russian takeover of Ukraine.

Now as far as the CIA boogey man you're creating any proof the CIA is in Ukraine right now doing anything or are you just making this up? Sounds to me you just need a scapegoat to explain Russian actions and who better than the CIA right?

Well they could if they keep doing that agreed im sure there defensive sytems were armed so im pretty sure they didnt get to close but this could go bad very easily. Russia knows better then to enter a defensive zone on ships you just dont do it it leads to shoot downs and problems. Makes me wonder if Russians are looking for a war at that point???

Those stunts were common during the cold war and all sides did them.

There was an incident in the Pacific involving a US carrier. During their maneuvers a Soviet sub popped to the surface in the middle of the group.

Russia recently continued their long range bomber flights, coming close to airspace of other nations. nothing ever occurs other than an intercept and monitoring.

I would wager it was nothing more than a warning from Russia saying we know you are here and we know where you are at.

Judging by the pic of the two helicopters and sun setting, they are heading north west, in the general direction of Slovyansk.

It doesn't matter what I think about junta, what matters is that East Ukrainians think about it.

What they they think about it is that it's a CIA puppet Fascist Neo-Nazi bunch of Right Sector thugs that rob, kill, extort, and rule by the gun. That's why regular people are stopping truck and disarming soldiers that Kiev junta is ordering to go and shoot their own people.

That's what matters, everything else is BS.

Watch the videos and point out a single Russian. What's happening there is the will of the people, simple as that.

I'm not going to debate the validity of that claim but surely there are more moderate forces on both sides that can work towards agreements that will end with a resolution both sides may not like but can live with. Demonizing is unproductive and both groups likely represent a diverse range of people with diverse views. I find it impossible to believe two peoples so interlinked by history, culture and economics cannot find common ground somewhere and build on that to create a mutually beneficial relationship.

More info on the Russian Jet/U.S. Warship situation -

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday.

In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings.

The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of coming in contact with the ship, said the official, who was not authorized to talk publicly by name about the encounter so spoke on condition of anonymity. The passes, which occurred in the early evening there, ended without incident.

The official also said that a Russian Navy ship, a frigate, has been shadowing the U.S. warship, remaining within visual distance but not close enough to be unsafe.

What planet are you from. The richest people are the ones who run GB and US and trying to run the planet, in that case.

Further adding to tensions, Russia has test-fired a ballistic missile, capable of carrying multiple warheads over 12,000 kilometers. The Russian state-owne news outlet RIA Novosti reports:

The Russian Strategic Missile Forces test-fired on Monday an RS-24 Yars intercontinental ballistic missile from a launch site in northwest Russia, the Defense Ministry said.

According to a ministry’s spokesman, Col. Igor Yegorov, the launch was carried out at 10.40 a.m. Moscow time (06:40 GMT) from a mobile launcher at the Plesetsk space center.

The test was successful as the simulated warhead hit a designated target at the Kura test range on Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula, Yegorov said.
The fifth-generation RS-24 Yars (NATO reporting name SS-29) is an upgraded version of the Topol-M ballistic missile that was first tested in 2007.

Asked during a trip to Berlin whether the United States could arm Ukrainian forces, senior diplomat Thomas Shannon said: "Obviously we are looking at that as an option ... but at this point I can't anticipate whether or not we are going to do that".

We get to have our missiles in Eastern Europe regardless that the people of those countries didn't even get a chance to vote on it, but that's because they don't want US missiles on their land, but who cares about some people way over there? It's all about USA, not some 3rd world people somewhere who get to play Democracy as we tell them to.

Huh, yah, agreed. Even ask them if they mind the Russian nukes that will rain down on them in an effort to destroy the "shielding"?

The only "defensive" measures in the region is of American (military) assets by the American military. We like to call it EU and European defense and whatnot but really the stuff is American made, pointed at Russia, from other countries soil.

Making it a Federal system allows the provinces / regions the ability to "leave" Ukraine and be on their own or ask to join Russia.

Thanks for the explanation.

That's a smart way of getting about the business. Where US spends billions, creates all sorts of chaos and ends up killing 100s of thousands, Russia just uses smart ways to get the job done.

US is too ambitious about the world. It should first tend to its own internal problems rather than trying to expand NATO further eastwards.

Testing their ICMBs is not surprising. If it comes to war they will likely be used on non-nuclear gulf states to restrict the all important war resource of oil. Psychological tests have shown most humans won't cause the destruction of their own nation and loved ones if they still believe victory or survival can be achieved by conventional means. That is why nuclear strikes on non-nuclear nations remain a dangerous possibility if anyone is crazy enough to test these theories. Strikes would likely be limited to a nuclear scorched earth strategy in Russia's own territory in the east if China became a concern and the oil rich gulf states.

Here's a live stream of the Kiev protest taking place. I obviously can't understand them, but I read on twitter that they are mad that not enough action has been taken by the government/military.

That would be an act of war. I would not be surprised if Russia conducts a pre-emptive strike on Ukraine before these weapons arrive or are on the way to. US will be wise enough !!

Well, now there's no point, pointing it out, now is there. You see, the FACT that CIA director flew to Nazi-Kiev under a fake passport, and that the very next day Kiev sent armed mercenaries to suppress the uprising of East Ukraine, including Donbas miners at gun point, is not important now, that was then, all the way like two days ago, and just doesn't matter anymore. CIA director was there just to hand out cookies, you see. It's all just friendly gestures.

CIA can do no wrong, don't you know that? CIA has a crystal clear record of humanitarian, life saving endeavors. It's only the KGB that's bad, you know, the big scary bear with blood dripping from its fangs.
